Thank you. Yes, that collab does use the same leather but spec’d out with a commando sole, captoe, brown stitching, speed hooks, and standard heel with pull tabs. Hope my vid allowed you to see the leather in various lighting and angles if you’re comparing the collab boot with mine. Both are awesome. Remember it’s gyw construction so you can always resole in the future. Maybe go white sole. Cheers.
I have that exact boot from American Trench. Beautiful boot but i wish Truman used a softer leather on the tongue. When laced up, the tongue fold bites into my inside ankle on my left foot and its annoyingly painful. Might have to trim it down a bit.

I like the color of the leather, you're mixing up your colors which I personally like. And as many have commented, the soles are a great choice. Any thoughts about stepping outside of Truman? I really like my pair of Mark Alberts (although their product line is shrinking so I'm wondering if they are struggling) and I have some Rhodes that I got cheap. And all that nice snow and no video of you shoveling the walks sporting a pair of boots? I'm wear mine hiking with the dog on weekends. I live in gold country so lots of great trails for my dog to take me on a walk.
Thank you. It was my intention to experience various leathers and specs so I really understand my preferences and evolve my collection. I have and will step outside of the boots on my current vids. I just haven’t got to those surprise videos yet. Also, I’d like try some of the Spokane makers in the future. Haha, maybe I should step outside my unboxing vids and showing these boots in action. Thanks so much for that. There was a RC boot in natural Essex with an off white half sole someone would post regularly on Ig. I couldn’t get the idea out my head of a Truman version of that boot. I really like how these turned out and was glad Truman approved my request for the specs on this MTO.

Was this a MTO? That sole from Dr Sole sure gives it a different look altogether from the usual Truman sole choices.

Unfortunately, the Toscanello Cowhide MTO was offered August 2020. Maybe they’ll come around again or you’ll see something else very similar
