Absolutely Amazing although a Little Overdue 😉 I absolutely love the East Coast Mainline as I grew up on it and am currently still Living on it. I do miss the HSTs and the Pacers though, at elast we still have the 91s for a little longer, Great work! ( I also need to come up to Retford soon lol, I've been meaning to for a while).
Thanks ☺️ and yes I admit it’s been a while in the works now, but better late than never I always say 😂 I’ve grown up on the ECML too but it’s not what it was, nor Is Retford unfortunately, very little variety and nil freight these days :(
@@trainspottingwithdanYT Will be coming, but due to my extended break it’s going to be a combined 22/23 as I haven’t got many clips for 2022 and not many from the first half of this year so hopefully I can pull it off. 2024 will be normal service resumed 👍🏻
Just wondering but did the 150 driver who did 268 tones get told off because i showed it to my mate whos a northen driver and said he might get told off
Hi mate, so the X is actually a placeholder. It takes the place as I did not catch the unit number and as such am unable to determine if it’s an 800 or an 801. Therefore I put 80X. Hope this answers your question and thank you for commenting :)
Of course :) Tip 1 - avoid large stations with lots of people Tip 2 - try and avoid areas that are very suburban Tip 3 - Avoid early morning / late nights (I find midday to early evening is the best time) Tip 4 - Lineside rather than stations is always best Tip 5 - choose a location where the drivers have a good view of you Tip 6 - Wave at the driver or if you do the horn signal if you feel comfortable to Tip 7 - always handy to make some driver friends!
Sorry about that 😬😂 I’m looking at how to continue going forwards, most likely outcome due to my time away will be a combined 2022/23 then normal service resumes from 2024
1 hour+ long, compilation of the best train horns and tones, you can't say no, especially to that ridiculous 268 tone at the end! Amazing vid!
Thank you so much, always makes me happy to know the effort it takes is worth it :)
the fact you were able to capture all these trains, is incredible.
These are absolutely mental!!!! Great video
Thanks! 😊
my favourites are the baby shark ones and the 268 tone at the end 😂
268 was a banger, and the baby shark tune I really liked too 😂

Finally another banger! Great job mate bit empty without the good old HSTs
It is a shame the HSTs are hardly in this, but it’s a sign of the times unfortunately:( glad you enjoyed anyway :)
@@eastcoasttrainspotting5673 yeah can’t wait for the 2022 one!

I love the 66s Darth Vader tones
Yikes, it must've taken ages to count all of the tones for the last few 😂
It does haha 😂

57:20 is one of my favs
We NEED more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How? Whenever I go to Retford or Chesterfield I rarely get any trains tooting at me.
Just lucky and know a couple of people. Give them a wave and you will catch some legends eventually 👍🏻
I love the video!!!!
Thank you very much 😊
your welcome
Finally! Amazing
Thank you! Been a long time coming 😁
@@eastcoasttrainspotting5673definitely a banger this hits differently to all your other compilations! 🎉

How do you get all or these tones what are your secrets
It’s not what you know it’s who you know 🤭😉. Also a lot of dedication and luck over time
@@eastcoasttrainspotting5673 okay then
Great video.
Thank you mate!
I cant tell which one is an 801 or an 800 bc they are 100% identical to eachother…
Just want to say that at 1:31 the number is actually 800103
268 tones is mad
Haha thanks!

Two different drivers pal, both legends!
801206 is going a wrong way!!!
Two years late 😂. When’s 2022
Sorry about that 😬😂 I’m looking at how to continue going forwards, most likely outcome due to my time away will be a combined 2022/23 then normal service resumes from 2024
Who was the 80x drivers😂
Dylan, thats all ill say
@ sounds good him
The east coast main line Isn’t the busiest railway line in the uk it’s the west coast main line because it has trains back to back
The ECML used to be good, but the WCML is now better for variety and freight
