Searching For Boundaries

On Saturday, November 18, 2023, I set out from the Rockland Road trailhead of the Sandy Creek / North Country Trail to try to ascertain where the boundary markers are to a piece of property owned by the Allegheny Valley Conservancy. This piece of land offers public access to frontage on East Sandy Creek. I found and marked what I feel certain are two corners of the property. From a sign/kiosk along the trail it appears as though the property extends beyond the opposite shore of East Sandy Creek. It was too cold to ford the creek on this day, so I am going to try and find a way in from the other side with the help of Gaia GPS and Google Maps. That may be an adventure for a future video. The two boundary markers I found are at 41.303978, -79.7008694 and 41.3031861, -79.6964833. On this day I hiked 4.83 making my year to date miles 183.14.
