Hi just watched your review on the Honda pioneer I just have a couple questions. First I live on a lake so will I be able to move boats around. Second is there any major downsides to it and have you had any serious problems. Third (I live in northern MN) so is it good in the snow and is it good for plowing. Fourth is it good for riding on the lake or deep snow.
Towing seems to be ok but I havent done a lot of towing and I dont plow with it but many I know do. It does pretty well on snow but when I was lake riding this winter did break through the crust into some powder that was a pain, but that would likely be a pain for anything without tracks. For deep snow tracks would probably be best.
Search a while for helmets, some guys on Reddit were not recommending hard head veterans. I was looking for something 3+ armor rating so they do have an addition armor that goes on the helmet. Everyone recommended ops core and team Wendy but I went to a military surplus store and got a ballistic helmet for $150 that came with a Ir strobe and visible flashlight
The folks on reddit are full of crap... HHV does just fine with BFD and has addressed the BS statements several times. If you look on reddit, when someone posts all of the data on the helmet, no one tends to comment. I'm not a fanboy, but yeah... they are full of crap. USASOC and other military units have cleared these for use. For $300 more, you could have bought a helmet with testing behind it. Ballistic materials can break down over time and I wouldn't recommend buying old helmets with no knowledge of their history. I've spent time in old PASGT helmets... an HHV with a Team Wendy retention system is 4000x better.
@@AUSly09 I think from what I researched the Integrated Head Protection System (IHPS) on Wikipedia is the newest helmet, I think it can only be found on eBay. other than that the Ops Core helmets offer ballistic face shields and SLAAP helmet shielding like Head headed veterans HHV, they probably are the best value for amount of money, but I think they are made in china. The other helmet I found out by playing Tarkov is the Diamond Age Bastion helmet that uses probably the best materials yet it’s only for the government...
@@stahlhelmturtle9822 show me a $150 ballistic helmet that is truly ballistic. And a surplus store typically will sell a bunch of Chinese or imported junk.
So why does my comment with a link to a tripod mounted on a helmet disappear into oblivion, and the comment from the bot which contains a random timestamp *and* a link does not?! Do I need to add a timestamp?!
@@GunsandTactics I started to think of what silly thing you could mount and I thought of the pic rail with a scope, but my son had seen a bipod on a helmet and had it up in an instant and I thought it was hilarious!
@@dahut3614 I’m thinking big brother UA-cam thought a bipod mounted to a helmet was offensive or dangerous and deleted it. You better be careful or they will delete you.
Great vid brother!
I live in Karachi Pakistan I like your comments if you don't mind
I really like mine but getting my ear pro/comms on the rails was NOT fun
Check out my other video on mounting ear pro

Good job

Will it stop a 308?
Lol. It barely stops a .44mag, and this is a good helmet.
No helmet on earth can stop a 308. :P

Lol so you bought some junk instead?

Dahut - Not sure, I can tell you it wasn’t deleted on this end. I never saw it.

i don't know about that Night vision mount my mount alone cost 250 dollars
You got ripped off. The HHV mount is aluminum, not some cheap plastic.
Just in time for the chauvin verdict...hopefully you don’t need it but it ain’t lookin good
anyone even remotely thinking of getting this helmet... Please Dont.
Why?

China makes better products for cheaper than the US, and that's a sad, sad fact.
