Weird as it is, this is a great season, and a wonderful transition period back to the main story.

I think Pam's appearance is supposed to be a reference to Korg from the MCU.
I think this is their best one, a shame they didn't have a crossover with Kill Face or Xander Cruise.
New lighting? Looks good. This season is my favourite among the dream sequences, goo Cheryl/Carol 🤟🌟
iirc [I might be mistaken, Alex Toth] the guy who did a bunch of character designs for this season is like, the Ron Howard of his craft, he did a bunch of shows for Cartoon Network, and some of the characters are based on his earlier works. Pam, who a lot of people assumed was Korg from the Thor movies, both came from Ookla The Mok [their designs are based off him] from a really...weird show, called Thundaar The Barbarian, and Ray is based off Inara from the Firefly series. And Kreiger...obviously is Ash/Bishop from Alien.
Really glad you're enjoying these three seasons. When these aired a lot of fans complained that they really wanted the spy comedy back. Me personally, I could watch this group of established characters in pretty much any scenario and they'd still be hilarious to me.
It's my understanding that show creator Adam Reed got bored with the spy stuff at some point and just wanted either a break or just to do something new altogether. And that's what gave us these great three, different seasons 👍🙂👍

Personally my favorite season of the coma arc, the others were still great though.
