Ahh you're making me so homesick Mick amca & Trudie! These Turkish farmer's markets are the best and you did a wonderful job featuring all the colorful produce as well as the eclectic cast of characters who sell them! Last summer when visiting my family in Izmir and Kusadasi, I went with my parents almost every week to these markets - as they pretty much do most of their shopping in this way. It's their happy place, lol :) But I can't believe how much the cost of everything has gone up since last summer! However, it's still a great bargain compared to the prices here in the U.S.! Also, you speak Turkish so well - which is very impressive and its also such a treat to watch your interactions with the locals in all your videos! Thank you for continuing to put a spotlight on my beautiful homeland! You have a genuine love and appreciation for Turkiye and for the Turkish people and we can all feel it. Love from NYC! 🍓🍓🍓🧿🧿🧿❤❤❤

    • @uhrologe2596

      That's right.
      Roughly to say:
The prices might be half or one third of our prices, but the median income might be one tenth.
So a "half priced" (compared to our prices, grocery has the inpact to the household as if our prices would cost three times of our current prices.
But of course it really depends on the food type and the region.
