      The sound is hideous and weak sounding. Indian should change especially since it’s a “performance” bagger and competing with Harley. I don’t know if you can change the sound but if I bought a Challenger/Pursuit I’d change the starter before I change the exhaust. It’s the worst.

With the 7; I can keep in lowered on the back roads and feel the breeze. On the interstate; I raise it 2-3 bumps to lessen wind noise and better hear my tunes...while still not having the edge right in my line of sight.

The first one I had ended up frying my light. Baja design had to repair it and send it back to me. I haven’t put it back on since then. Hey, probably already talked about it in another video, but I'm real curious to know if there was any issues you had with the Challenger at 30000 plus miles.
    Do you feel a guy has to be at all worried about longevity and reliability? I know Indian is bought and owned by Polaris and to me that's very concerning. I've had multiple Polaris has been around polaris's and I think their junk. They're a great machine when they're working, but when they start having problems it just continues and it don't take very long before they start having problems and falling apart. I have zero trust in Polaris, therefore I question the same for these Indians.

    • @Ridingfish
      @Ridingfish  2 місяці тому +1

      I believe if you had bad experiences with Polaris, I could 100% understand how you would be nervous about Indian Motorcycle.. That being said, Polaris made Victorys and learned a ton from them. They have a different team working on the "On Road" part of the company.. but Victory was known for being amazing!! Now I have had 4 Indian Motorcycles Challenger, Pursuit, FTR, Scout.. I have 60,000 plus miles on the powerplus motor, and I have had like 2 issues that were not a humans fault.. one was an odd code that threw on my first bike that they fixed in 10 mins, and then I just had a fuel pump on my newest bike, but it had 21,000 miles on it.. I trust my bikes and these Indians

      @Ridingfish lol, yes you did. I forgive you. I bought a new Goldwing instead, and just traded it in on a new 2024 Road Glide. I'm a big time motorsports guy, wouldn't surprise me if before I die, hopefully that will be a long time still, I'll own a Indian challenger and possibly a BMW. Wish I could have them all. Unfortunately I can only afford 1 at a time. So one has go in order to buy the other. I'm having fun with this new Harley, but I do miss a lot of things about the Gold Wing really wish I could have kept it while also buying this new Harley.
      If I wasn't so concerned about reliability and durability, the Indian Challenger would probably be a good Inbetweener of the Honda Goldwing and Harley Davidson Road Glide.
      Thanks for the reply.

      @Ridingfish  2 місяці тому

      @@curtisbull1583, Did you ride the Challenger!??! Are you saying the main reason for not buying the Challenger is reliability?? Or what was it that made you go to the new RG over Challenger?!?!

    • @curtisbull1583
      @curtisbull1583 2 місяці тому +1

      @Ridingfish yes, I've rode a couple challengers. But that was before I bought the Goldwing. Swapped to the Harley about 5 weeks ago. Didn't go back to look at the Indians. Again Polaris has screwed me over the years along with others I ride with, as far as sxs's and snowmobiles. Friends of mine that own the challengers, have and some minor issues, like the plastic gear for the windshield breaking and the latches for the front storage lids breaking.
      So again, I feel like Polaris's quality control is rubbing off onto the Indian brand.
