- NOTE: This video was filmed back in October of 2014. I would have uploaded it sooner, but i put it in a folder and totally forgot about it. This weekend while going through files on my computer, i found these videos, thus i had to upload them. I do apologize for not uploading them sooner.
2nd NOTE: Also this video is somewhat shaky because the trains in this video caught me and my friend Adam off guard and i didn't have time to get my tri-pod setup.
======================================================
This video was shot at a few crossings in Bergenfield and 1 crossing in Dumount, New Jersey.
Like i said above, when i first went on this trip with my friend Adam back in October of 2014, these 4 videos were put off to the side for some unknown reason. They were put in a folder and i totally forgot about them. Just the other day, i was going through my video folders, and i stumble upon these long lost videos. They are a bit shaky because most of the trains in this video caught me and Adam off guard and i didn't have time to setup my tri-pod.

Great video!
And the Church Street crossing also has a General Signals (Type-2) e-bell, not a Safetran Type-2 e-bell.
+freebrickproductions okay, i'll fix it
Also, New Bridge Road has WABCO gate mechs on the pedestrian signals, not Safetran.
+freebrickproductions Okay, thank you, i didn't know what the make was.
Great catches!
+freebrickproductions Thank You
I love the crossings here!
+freebrickproductions Me too!
Freedomtowerman Productions I really hope I can get up here next year, and that all of the old equipment will still be there.
***** let me know when you do, i'll railfan with you.
It should be, it held out this long
+Freedomtowerman Productions do you know the old military southern line starting in red bank
Frank Dougherty Red Bank, AL? Nope. Unless it's that NS Branch Line in Courtland.
Awesome video Vincent. I guess things like this happen sometimes. Was this the only video you found on your computer from a while back? Also, I actually checked out the columbia ave crossing this weekend, as well as heading around the river line and only saw one train (in Haworth) out of the couple hours I went around the line for. And unfortunately, the WRRS mini bell at the Haworth ave ped. crossing is still dead. And it looks like a couple people at columbia ave decided to run across as the gates started to go down.
loving the epic comment at 10:03 in the video!
Great videos especially the mechanical bell
+Eric (ericondefense) Thank You so much!
Yea i know, i love that WRRS mini bell
Freedomtowerman Productions i have nice videos too
Eric yes you do. i've watched them.
Freedomtowerman Productions which video did you like the best?
Eric The train ones i like the most
That crossing had changed since 2020 Columbia Ave
No wonder those videos weren't uploaded. I thought that Liberty railfanner was here by himself
+ddme098 Huh? The wern't uploaded because i forgot about him, and he was here with me
love it.
+finn2724 Thank you so much!
Why are freight trains there always so long?
+Dutch Railroad Crossings Here in the US, they carry lots and lots of stuff, and instead alot of little trains, they run big long trains like this.
I live in dumont on Columbia Avenue
2017
Nice one man but bad K5HLL horm
+Standard Gauge Railroader Thank You!
Yea, i know it sounds bad
Columbia ave's bell is so old
+Timothy Plesnik Yes it is, and still works too
No wonder those videos weren't uploaded. I thought that Liberty railfanner was here by himself
No, i was there too, they just got lost, thankfully i found them.
+Freedomtowerman Productions I do have a note about 2 crossings that you filmed
Church Street: Hybrid bell died and was replaced
Main Street: The signal with the WRRS bell used to have GRS plastic lights in 2010
Also did you notice the old US&S Y pattern signal at Columbia Ave? That is an approach lit ABS signal that helps when a SB train passes. When the signal turns red, you will have a train 5 minutes later and when it passes completely, if the signal stays red, another one is coming but if it turns green, nothing is behind him. One may be in the Teanack siding but it is also unlikely sometimes.
