I agree. I never thought I would sympathize with Bill, but the way he's treated this season is almost nonsensical. How has his behavior warranted being cut off from his daughter with Noreen? He's not the best partner/husband, but that doesn't mean he won't be a good dad to Bex. The only reason I can understand Noreen keeping Bill from seeing Bex is if he hadn't been coming around to see her until that moment he comes over with the stuffed animal. I find that hard to believe since Bill clearly puts in an effort to see his older children.
There seemed to be many "missing" scenes this season. If Bill has been so terrible that he should be kept away from his daughter, there should be a scene showing that.
Me either! I was just thinking this last night. For me it’s the wholesome thing. I feel like I just get caught up wishing the world was this way.
Not going to include a lot of details bc Season 3 is new but this man is trying to be a better dad and no one will let him. I am at the point where I almost need to fast forward his scenes bc its just so sad and unfair at this point.
Completely agree. Every episode I’m honestly confused why he is so vilified. Yes his Maddie business is in the past and they seem to be on stable ground. And why Isaac is so cold to him, and not his mom. Bill had no idea about him. His mom did. He didn’t choose to not be a part of it

Exactly what I wonder. So the woman who hid the pregnancy and gave him up gets a pass, but the guy who knew nothing about it doesn't? Don't get me wrong, Bill is horrible with the unprotected sex thing, clearly, but Isaac is blaming the wrong person for this one. And quite frankly, I don't think kids given up for adoption should be mad at the mother either. They could have gone another route.
All I know is SWEET MAGNOLIAS NEED TO Keep GOING, IT TEACHES SO MANY LIFE LESSONS EVEN FOR THE KIDS, WILL OTHERS GET MARRIED ENGAGED , WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE KIDS GROW AND THE OTHER GENERATION OF MAGNOLIAS TO GROW AND BLOOM I CRIED When SEASON 3 ENDED I HAVE CRIED IN SO MANY SCENES BRING IT BACK Please I WANT TO SMILE LAUGH AND AGREE THRU Things WITH THEM TOO. I WISH THERE REALLY WAS A COMMUNITY IN THE WORLD LIKE IN SWEET MAGNOLIAS I WOULD MOVE THERE IN A HEART BEAT WITH MY FAMILY!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My friend asked for something to watch and I suggested Sweet Magnolias. I also told her it was cheesy and corny but fun to watch.
Who are the stylists on this show??!!! We’ve talked about them doing Dana Sue dirty but.. This man is drop dead gorgeous- WTF are they doing with his hair this season??!! Looks ridiculous
Personally I think Kathy’s acting is absolutely awful, she’s so erratic. Helen’s acting is pretty terrible this season, too. Isaac is another contender, and so is Bill. So many to choose from.
It’s all overly wholesome.
The over the top acting, the fake niceness 24/7, the dramatic facial expressions, the fake southern accents. It's all so cringey but I still can't stop watching.
