My husband and I watched every episode while I was pregnant. Now my 3 month old son gets excited when he hears "hell yea brother" 😆 if I need him occupied, all I need is a Cleetus episode.
I used to watch next to my wife while she was pregnant and as soon as the engines would come on he would get all sorts of active. Kids are the best

Man I’m so glad Ty is part of the channel. Guy brings a lot to the channel. I remember a time where jackstand use to be a little camera shy haha.
No disrespect to Jackstand and Georgie, but I feel like Ty may be the greatest addition to the team in recent history when it comes to the race program.
James was originally hired as a mechanic mostly I think but transition more into a racer/partner I'm glad to see that everyone works on the cars tho and no one thinks they are to high and mighty to get dirty over all a great crew

Making Leroy better, stronger and faster (all fingers & toes crossed) is the absolute best things you could do. Leroy is by all measures America's hardest working dragster, and to be making improvements to the old soldier YES YES YES YES!!!!!!
I think Kevin made the turbo drains part of the turbo mounts just so they can't forget to hook them up if the turbos do ever come off lol.

A few cubes of "Dry-Ice" in the Ice-Water tank should slow-down the melting of the Water-ice.
So that the ice-Water tank stays cooler for longer.

Now that you have a really nice engine in Mullet, please remember three or four critical things,
Engine-oil changes (more frequent), Spark-Plug inspections/changes (far more frequent), head bolt/stud retorqueing, Valve-lash inspection/measurement/adjustment (more frequently).
The surface temperature of dry ice is -109.3° F (-57° C).
Above this temperature (at normal atmospheric pressure),
dry ice sublimes, or sublimates.
Both words describe the same thing-
when a substance turns directly into a gas without first becoming liquid
(In an ice-water tank some of that CO2 instead of all (totally) being gassed of,
will dissolve into water producing a WEAK acid.)

I enjoy pretty much everything y'all do at the Freedom Factory, the jet boat build, the cars and the runs but, even though its just my opinion, the excitement everyone goes through and is clearly seen in the vids, is just sooooo contagoeus. I love all you guys but George takes the trophy. He's my favourite, you just see it everytime he's on screen. Good, bad or broken he's there bubbling away, ready to pull out transmissions, engines or ashtrays. Keep on G and thanks to you all...

Here's a thought. Now that Leroy has a strain guage shifter you can do all sorts of things. My idea is that since it is set for ignition cut you can also set it up so if the clutch is depressed and that switch is hit then it won't ignition cut. Make it a little easier on the engine for road driving and also won't have to change tunes for moving around the pits or whatever.
Since you can set the pressure it takes to cut the ignition it can be higher than it takes when making a normal shift with the clutch. That way it won’t cut the ignition if driving easy, but would still cut the ignition when you really pull on it under load.
Although it is a dog box so it might just work out fine cutting the ignition to shift in normal driving.
I was thinking the same thing. The engine cut is gonna get old really quick just moving Leroy around or going to and from the pits and such.

leroy really should have had a full teardown about a year ago; probably could have got the shifter/shift lights and suspensions all sorted. If it was fully seized its amazing it did anything half as well as it did

@@zach_60 honestly I forgot that was called budds creek. It's been a pretty long time since I've been down that way and I haven't heard too many people call budds creek. The motorcross park is like right next to the drag strip, it's less than a 1/2 mile from main entrance to main entrance.

You don't necessarily NEED a strain gage. But it will help. Most guys these days are pulling the ignition at the top of the gear in the TUNE (when they want to shift) while holding pressure on the stick. With the pressure applied on the stick, once the engine Revs through that RPM and ignition is pulled the shifter literally falls right in.

Been running John Deere hygard in transmissions for years. Running 30 to 40 degrees cooler towing and don’t have any issues.
