Using his family recipe he guides you through every step from kneading the dough to making the classic margherita topping. This is everything you need to know about pizza in one video folks.

Leave dough to rise in a warm place for 2 hours. Bake for 7 minutes at 220•C. Saving this too

If using instant yeast use less. I made this with 7g if instant yeast and it tripled in size instead of doubling, ended up being an American style deep pan pizza.

Gennaro Contaldo cooked at the command of Antonio Carluccio the father of Italian food , I think Antonio Carluccio was like his mentor or something and they became great friends . Also , Gennaro was Jamie Olivers mentor at Antonio Carluccios restaurent , these people are 100% the best

Except yeast doesn't produce oxygen, it produces carbon dioxide.

Of all the pizza dough recipes I've seen on UA-cam with millions of hits this one wins by a long shot. The recipe is simple, easy, quick AND this guy is a blast to watch having fun make pizza! Gennaro is a legend!
When I have a crap day I come and watch Gennaro, never fails to cheer me up. If everyone had the passion for what they do that Gennaro does the world would be a million times better.

Yep! You don't get this high temperature in an standard home oven. I'm thinking about buying a small "Ooni" oven. They seem to be a good compromise for home pizza enthusiasts.

Did it yesterday. Wonderful dough!!! Loved the texture. My pizza was amazing.
Just to give you an idea:
I put Béchamel sauce, mozzarella, smoked Gouda, smoked blue cheese, mushrooms, fresh basil, garlic powder and pepper on top, Splash of olive oil.
Delicious.
