You are not moving your opponent around the court enough if you are just slamming the ball back always hard and flat and deep always up into the baseline and deep into the corners of the baseline to try to pin him down behind the baseline to keep him stuck always in the middle of the court.. The backhand slice is going to also be a weakness at the higher level because its floaty, its not driving always all flat and low with bite through the court, a slice that is too floaty becomes a sitter. I don't see any threat to Futures Opponents or any top pros with this type of play when there are alot of loose balls also going out of the court because of failure to wrap the ball or just not in good court position.....I don't see the reverse forehand finish to hook the ball in the court more. All I see is the hard flat topspin drive with the flat forehand. I don't see the forehand slice Its a mistake to try to do a backhand drive by bending all over at the waist to try to swing at it when its not in proper reach, not only is that poor posture to bend over at the waist to try to drive the ball, but it can scoop the ball all up into the sky during the swing so when you get a ball not in reach its more better to try to slice that difficult ball instead. As for the Serve, the serve is ok, it has some bite. It makes the opponent take a few steps over or lunges. Its ok. Its moving him a little.
@Peter Pappas Top 100 pros will probably dismantle 6-0 6-0. Hell I am a 5.0 rated and he would give me very close to 6-0 6-0. He is probably Top 10.000 players in the world. Very good player for us mortals but very far from Top 100.

A really high quality match with high level players. The difference was the guy in the blue shirt had a better serve with more variety and was getting better depth on the ground strokes. The guy in the blue probably could compete well playing challenger or satellite tournaments. One of the best non-pro matches I have seen on UA-cam!!

I actually go back to these videos and study your serve whenever my own serve starts to feel off. I've found good success from trying to copy your beautiful serve.
@@andreysmirnov7461 just observational here but a thought on your forehand from a former Bolettieri instructor. On your forehand side your unit turn seems to stop at 45° at times compared to your backhand where you make a nice full turn. This in turn is causing you to use more arm where I feel you could get more pace with less effort getting that full turn. In the grand scheme of things your strokes are fantastic and you’re playing at a very high level so this would be a “wish list/marginal gain” adjustment. Keep up the great playing and enjoy the game! 🎾

Thank you! Im just using Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the video. And yes i had to sit there and cut all of it by hand. Unfortunately no tennis editing software can edit 4K video yet and i want to provide my viewers with the best quality stuff so im cool with editing it by hand. After editing i sat down to rewatch the whole video again and at the same time i was keeping the score using online scoreboard while also recording that part of the screen. Then simply overlaid two on top of each other and whoala

Hard to advice without seeing it but usually, think about using like 70% of your left arm and 30% of your right arm when hitting it. Keep feet closer together and dont move your racket up too early, guide the ball thorugh. Sometimes you can also take a racket in your left arm and go next to the wall and pretend like you hitting a lefty forehand, that helps a lot
Nice video. It seems that you only get into trouble when you drift farther and farther behind the baseline. The points you stay close, you are able to dictate pretty convincingly. Easier said than done, as your opponent is hitting with good depth. Thanks for posting this. What set up did you use to record it?

Im using just Adobe Premiere Pro to cut out boring stuff like where we pick up balls and what not and then i used some random website i found on Google for the score board, so i was keeping the score as i was watching the video and recorded my screen. Then simply overlaid it onto the video itself

I dont workout often as i dont have time with a full time job but here are some quick tips: 1) Dont skip a leg day, its more important than you think 2) Stretch a lot and work on hand eye coordination 3) Leg day - squat, leg bicep curl, calf raises, leg extensions, one leg squat each for 20,15,12 and 10 reps 4) Arms - bench press, dumbel row, biceps, shoulder press, triceps, forearm extensions also 20,15,12,10 reps

Tennis is so boring today, they stand on the baseline, 2HBH's, its so monotone, anti-climatic, there is no risk, where is the excitement that used to exist, does anyone ever think about coming to the net and these rackets and strings are providing the power and top spin.
What is the point of his videos ? He walks around court like he is some amazing talent. It an ok player making videos as if he is someone to emulate. He is not division 1 level for sure. It would have to be no.6 on a small low level conference like Florida AM or like a Bucknell. Someone tell me other than a decent 1st serve and a solid backhand does this guy have? No weapons and awful forehand. Poser of the site
I respect your opinion, but I completely disagree. He's got some of the best editing for a tennis channel. He is very quick with replies and is pretty thorough. At the recreational level where I am at, I don't give a shit for D1 tennis unless I can learn something from it. I can learn from his example, for sure.
What a joke. Andre is not good. His forehand technoque is absolutely horrible. He does have good technique on backhand. Anyone can come on here and say anything. If you play at high level or a coach of top juniors you would know his level is not ver high. I coach so I am around top juniors and played division 1. Zhat is why I know his level is not very high. You people know little about tennis if you think Andre is above a 12 UTR. I can find 3 players every day at my public courts that would beat him. Enjoy video.

What is the point of his videos ? He walks around court like he is some amazing talent. It an ok player making videos as if he is someone to emulate. He is not division 1 level for sure. It would have to be no.6 on a small low level conference like Florida AM or like a Bucknell. Someone tell me other than a decent 1st serve and a solid backhand does this guy have? I respect your opinion, but I completely disagree. He's got some of the best editing for a tennis channel. He is very quick with replies and is pretty thorough. At the recreational level where I am at, I don't give a shit for D1 tennis unless I can learn something from it. I can learn from his example, for sure.
What a joke. Andre is not good. His forehand technoque is absolutely horrible. He does have good technique on backhand. Anyone can come on here and say anything. If you play at high level or a coach of top juniors you would know his level is not ver high. I coach so I am around top juniors and played division 1. Zhat is why I know his level is not very high. You people know little about tennis if you think Andre is above a 12 UTR. I can find 3 players every day at my public courts that would beat him. Enjoy video.
