Hello everyone!
My name is Andrey and i recently started to play tennis again after about 4-5 year break since a finished college. One of my really good friends motivated me to get back into it and now i wish i would have never quit. Join me on the journey of getting back into the beautiful game of tennis and hopefully soon i will be able to play some ATP level tournaments and see if i can become good enough to get 1 ATP point. Along the way, i will post videos of me playing tennis and some tutorials so make sure to subscribe!

what changed 2021 2023 vcore 95
I don't know if you will even see this but if you do, you 100% need to try Tecnifibre razor soft in the Gravity. I know it's on the expensive end but trust me
Do you recommend it for Western forehand as well?
Dude, everything you said screamed, too high string tension.
Thanks for uploading!! Can you take a video on how to hit a high ball well?
I don’t get it how many points do you have to have to win the first game?
Thanks for uploading! You are inspiring me as I aim to play ITF futures. It’s not easy but seeing your videos motivates me. You have a great backhand too!
7:48
4:10
What string are you using in this video?
This kid doing pretty well as of 2024. He’s currently ranked 8 nationally, I think that’s U18.
good to see your video again!!! seems like youve changed your racket! is it 2023 head gravity pro? also can i ask your string setup and did you customize your racket?
Yes i did switch and love it much better. As far as strings im still experimenting but so far the best has been Poly Tour Pro both ways
I have an old school forehand and I hit with an eastern/ semi western grip, and hit the ball flat with medium topspin. Thank you for posting this video my friend.
This content is sooo good 🥴 Please do volleys next 🙏
My weakest shot lol
Keep posting good stuff, Andrei.
Thank you!
Andrey, could you elaborate on a role of that massive beard in the forehand? Does it help to keep the head stable due to air resistance?
To scare the opponent
my problem is next when the strings are fresh and more stiff i play more with nadal forehand when strings got looser and get plow trough i play with with more flat rublev style .pff.
What racket/string/tension do you play with?
Why gravity pro and no percept ?
Percept is basically a paint job on 97 Pro and Gravity is 10 times better regardless of
Good to see you uploading again, Andrey 🙌
Thank you sir!
I usually don’t watch the hit after the reviews in such videos but the hitting here in such tricky conditions was excellent. Good review too and I agree with the sentiments
Thank you very much!
Hey, glad you're back. Would you know how the gravity pro compares to Wilson blade. I am a baseliner with Wilson blade/rpm blast and struggle with keeping the ball in sometimes. Would it be worth it to try the gravity pro or does it have even more power?
Okay, im gonna tell you hard truth playing both of these rackets. Wilson Blade IMO is the most overrated racket on the market. It has no distinct things that it does well. It does nothing well. Now, playing with RPM blast in 2024 you are compromising yourself. Try Gravity Pro, ditch RPM Blast for Poly Tour Rev or Pro. String at 53lbs same tension both ways.
@@andreysmirnov7461 Thanks for the response. How does the rpm blast compromise me? And by switching to the gravity pro with those string mentioned, what should I expect to be different. Just to note, I usually string racket at 47, sometimes a bit less.
So nice to see you back in action, Andrey! If memory serves, you were hitting with the Yonex VCore Pro racquet the last time you were making videos, but that looks like the Gravity Pro. Did you make a switch to that racquet after testing it out?
Yes i made the switch. This racket suits my game style far better. I dont think there is a better racket for aggressive baseliners
Any suggestions what is the perfect tension on this stick? Thanks
I would say you would need a softer string than usual and/or lower tension. Maybe even try a shaped string like Poly Tour Rev
@@andreysmirnov7461 50lbs on this racket is too much. So stiff
I always always always recommend good footwork -- nothing is MORE IMPORTNAT than loading your shot because a loaded body is like a moving train. You will be so physically solid.
heyyy
This is world class backhand actually.
Haha thanks a lot but nah there is a bit of room for improvement specifically on a footwork
When did you start playing tennis?
Maybe around 7 years old but i was only playing like 2 times per week until i moved to USA at the age of 17
@@andreysmirnov7461 Interesting!
Absolutely pumping out content. Love it.
Thank you!
Hi! I just got my new Head Gravity Pro What is the string u used in this video? And what tension? What is the best string for Gravity Pro? Thankyou!
Congrats on the new stick! I am actually experimenting with bunch of different strings at the moment but so far Yonex Poly Tour Pro 125mm both ways is my favorite at 52lbs. Given unique characteristics of the Gravity Pro i think its doing its best with softer polys
Great Hitting!
Thank you!
thanks for the insights!
My pleasure!
Coach..too much GT and not enough PT (physical training) 😉
Yes sir, and too much beer
Dang u are crushing it. I like strike vs and the new strikes are good too
97 vcore pro по игровым качествам больше похож на 100 от любого другого производителя. Vcore 95 v7, слишком мягкий для 95.
Hello , good luck with ur recovery , what u estimate is ur ntrp level?
Thank you! Not sure on NTRP level but should be high 11s UTR
You should try to play Jonathan Chang from ChangBang! Would be a great match for getting back into shape, and then maybe more 😅.
Great to see you're back. Loved watching your vids-especially when you were talking about the new Yonexes!
Thanks! Now im a Head guy
@@andreysmirnov7461 thanks. Did you also change your backhand? You used to have a low high (like Hewitt and Albanian) and now you do closer to a unit turn.
@@BeforeandAfterTennis no, not really. Its just i have not been playing for a while so starting out is always kind of weird
What’s your string and tension on the Gravity Pro. Also, good to see you back! I was strolling through my timeline and had to do a double take because you’ve been M.I. to the damm A lol
Haha lets hope i can be more present now! Im using Poly Tour Pro right now at 53lbs but might be trying different strings in the near future
dude ive been following you for some time. Glad to see you back, if youre in Ontario Canada id love to play and shoot a vid
somehow it feels your forehand got better technique vs before:)
Hey man! Finally… we have been waiting! You’ve switched racquets from vcore pro also? How come?
Yeah after i reviewed the Gravity Pro i went ahead and bought a few rackets. Best decision ever
Love that you're back! Hopefully to stay! Once you get back into the groove I hope you get involved with more youtube tennis channels! @winners-only is a great channel in Texas - obviously way below your level though.
Nice tennis! Do you think you could beat a solid 4.5 player?
Lol. Only if they like and subscribe
@@andreysmirnov7461 Absolutely!!!!
Maybe the 4.5 gets 2 games instead of 0 now
