NONAMENATIONALS '24 Here we come! New build that's been off the road for 50? years. Will it make it?

No Name Nationals 2024 will be September 19-21 2024 at Skelton raceway in Sikeston Missouri. This is an event for UA-cam content creators with at least 500 subscribers to their channel at the time of the event. This will be our 3rd year attending and the second as a participant. This year we may be driving two cars down. It's about 700 miles one way if we avoid the metropolises.
Here's the "new" project's heart. it's a 327 Chevy small block that sat in a tree row for decades. Will it survive after a bit of fleshing up? Time will tell.
Lets see if we can get this car together and drive the 700 mile to NNN 24 in Sikeston!

My friend put a 327 he had setting in a warehouse for decades into his Model A. Nothing like repurposing. Those 327's run strong.

Cool! Am I correct in noticing the GM recall "securement" cables for motor mount issues?
And that engine actually doesn't look to bad, must be reasonably low mileage. '69 Bel Air, or Biscayne?

@@jamesthompson8008Good eye, there were the recall cables, I didn't have to remove the motor mount bolts. if I remember right, it was under 100k. I thought I had taken pictures of the tash, but I don't find them. This car is the Caprice, top of the line for 69.
