That's a great choice. I got it last days of music and it was my first instrument where I could hold down the notes. It's fun to mess around with and fun to work with.

To confirm, the new instrument is a piano, we have a portable keyboard and floor grand piano (Wasteland spirit? Can't remember which one) , as well as the normal grand piano from Duet. *So, this is the first actual piano in sky.* The difference is also hard to explain.
The fact that they actually made an upright piano makes me so happy. I hope the Duets spirits are also involved in Days of Music since they are heavily involved in the music as well

I'd assume either the piano's sound is gonna be updated to be unique, updated to sound like the Duet piano, or is meant to sound the same as the base piano. Kinda like the Anniversary electric guitar is the same as the Performance electric guitar.

They did that because some items would be put in the wrong places, like iap in the igc currency tree. I think they did that so players know that it’s subject to change (ie: don’t hurt us we’ll listen if u want this for free)

The actual anime was brutal, bloody, violent, although I enjoyed it. But you wouldn't know just hearing that tune, which just sounds like a hymn.
this is unrelated sorry but i need to talk about this to people who will understand... i noticed that (at least on pc) physics are affected by fps, meaning at max fps my cape wont have smooth movements. i need to lock the fps to 30 and get nausea if i want my cape to have a neat flow to it... i submitted a bug report for it but i doubt they would ever fix a "minor" issue like this
I love the instruments! One of my absolute favorite things in Sky. I’m glad there’s going to be another Days of Music. Oh! The two pianos we could get in Duet were built like grand pianos, and this one looks more like it’s maybe a spinet or an upright? That’s cool. Very similar shape to the piano I grew up around. I know we’ve already got multiple pianos in the game, but I like that the recent ones are placable props and look a little more like real piano in shape, with a bench and all. And this one looks like it hangs more balanced while wearing it than the base game piano, which is a nice touch and something l like about the Duet pianos as well.

This is just beta, we usually test 2-3 events at once, since we don't have a lot of time to test each event on its own. So dw the 2 will be separate when they come to live
I ended up taking a nearly month long break because, as much as I absolutely love and adore this game, all the Candle runs/Events, and TS made me feel burned out. I started playing in December of 2022. So, many Events and TS are brand new to me. But even the excitement of experiencing new things, I still felt kinda overwhelmed with trying hard to keep up with everything. I just returned to the game three days ago. And watching Mold's videos shows that, if anything, TGC is cranking things out even faster than before. It's all just.... Honestly exciting, but also disheartening because it's hard to catch a break. People who have been playing longer than I have probably don't mind all of these upcoming moments in Sky.
im sorry but saying that 125 candles for an instrument is an "okay price" is absolutely WILD. Instruments of traveling spirits have NEVER costed that much and should NEVER cost that much. Thats a very hot take and a lot of people are gonna be mad about it

I saw this piano before in someone else's video. They used it to play the music sheets from shattering spirits. The video was posted when the shattering spirits were about to return. Not sure how they already had that piano.
For all sky kids who can’t or don’t spend money TGC should give us something equivalent to an IAP but instead can be bought with candles cos I’m feeling left out T^T
I don’t quite understand the upset about this event. This was an event from last year, it was expected to come back just as days of style did. Additionally, the items from last year were event currency, I’m not sure why they’d discontinue that for this time around. I understand the frequency of events can be overwhelming for some, but I remember when just about a year or two ago, people were upset about the lack of in-game events. This sort of contradiction is confusing for the devs, they can’t decide on which course of action would be best! I would encourage those who are upset to go to their discord and be clear and concise about what they want. Unfortunately, developers most likely cannot see your complaints when they are only on a social media forum. Additionally, BE SPECIFIC. If you want an item to be igc, say that! The devs don’t understand precisely what is being asked when you say “all the pretty items are never free.” Finally, I would encourage some of you to take a step back. This is not a “go touch grass” moment, I am telling you to step away from the issues for just a moment, to clear your mind and focus on the right thing to say. The community often gets too focused on our own negativity that it only causes a repetition of the cycle. Try to acknowledge the good about new events and items. Cosmetics won’t always turn out the way you want, and that’s okay! There’s no pressure to always buy or grind for the next thing, just get what you like.
Just realized something and I’m gonna put this in because there seems to be a lot of confusion: These events are going to be spread out. TGC beta tests multiple things at once to save time. I remember once there was testing for nature, rainbow, and summer all at the same time. These events are obviously going to be spaced out as much as possible, so please keep that in mind before you get upset.
The event itself is great, but another piano? ;-; and that jam stations is a little... Meh. Ik It's expect/ask to much but they could do like, a "electric keyboard piano" that would be nice cuz it's a bit different of piano, and the music jam idk, it's just a little messy, but that's what I think, surely people would do cool beats with

tbh the piano is cool and it would be nice to have a standing piano for free players, but at the same time the cosmetics are marching band themes and we still only have ONE brass instrument in the game (assembly bugle), of which was an ult as well so it's never coming back. I would kill for a trombone or French horn to be in the game T-T

I really hope the piano isn't an IAP, I was really disappointed when they made the two pianos from the duets season purchasable only for those who bought the season pass. THE PIANOS WERE THE SAME! The only thing that differentiated them the most was the color! Even in that season when they brought cameras at least one was buyable, one of them had more functions and was more elaborate while the other, simpler, everyone could buy! In my country any type of IAP costs an absurd price! I just wanted a piano to put in my nest😭

I saw this piano before in someone else's video. They used it to play the music sheets from shattering spirits. The video was posted when the shattering spirits were about to return. Not sure how they already had that piano.

I don’t quite understand the upset about this event. This was an event from last year, it was expected to come back just as days of style did. Additionally, the items from last year were event currency, I’m not sure why they’d discontinue that for this time around. I understand the frequency of events can be overwhelming for some, but I remember when just about a year or two ago, people were upset about the lack of in-game events. This sort of contradiction is confusing for the devs, they can’t decide on which course of action would be best! I would encourage those who are upset to go to their discord and be clear and concise about what they want. Unfortunately, developers most likely cannot see your complaints when they are only on a social media forum. Additionally, BE SPECIFIC. If you want an item to be igc, say that! The devs don’t understand precisely what is being asked when you say “all the pretty items are never free.” Finally, I would encourage some of you to take a step back. This is not a “go touch grass” moment, I am telling you to step away from the issues for just a moment, to clear your mind and focus on the right thing to say. The community often gets too focused on our own negativity that it only causes a repetition of the cycle. Try to acknowledge the good about new events and items. Cosmetics won’t always turn out the way you want, and that’s okay! There’s no pressure to always buy or grind for the next thing, just get what you like.
Just realized something and I’m gonna put this in because there seems to be a lot of confusion: These events are going to be spread out. TGC beta tests multiple things at once to save time. I remember once there was testing for nature, rainbow, and summer all at the same time. These events are obviously going to be spaced out as much as possible, so please keep that in mind before you get upset.

tbh the piano is cool and it would be nice to have a standing piano for free players, but at the same time the cosmetics are marching band themes and we still only have ONE brass instrument in the game (assembly bugle), of which was an ult as well so it's never coming back. I would kill for a trombone or French horn to be in the game T-T

I really hope the piano isn't an IAP, I was really disappointed when they made the two pianos from the duets season purchasable only for those who bought the season pass. THE PIANOS WERE THE SAME! The only thing that differentiated them the most was the color! Even in that season when they brought cameras at least one was buyable, one of them had more functions and was more elaborate while the other, simpler, everyone could buy! In my country any type of IAP costs an absurd price! I just wanted a piano to put in my nest😭
