We can't see whether it'll be paid or not now with this new bundle, it's like when they removed IAP prices in beta all over again. And I feel not enough people will like it enough to push for it. By the time it is revealed what it is, it'll be finalized anyways. All we can do is hope.

To be honest, devs should make Alice in the wonderland as a season will better than short event like cynamorol, cuz we may have lots of area in this tale such as red queen kingdom and white queen castle, or we may have a battle with the dragon just like what Alice did in movie live action. And ton of things and clothes will go with this season if devs makes it come true.

Adding a second comment as a disclaimer and a what we need to do to have a reasonable collab and/or event. This collab is *not based on disney's rendition* of the story, TGC is *working with the original book which is public domain.* Secondly:all IGC's and IAPs are in one package. We need to do two things if we wanna satisfy most players (cause unfortunately satisfyibg 100% of the playerbase is impossible as there will be one person still upset) 1. We need *all of us to agree* on which items should be IAP and IGC. If we all don't agree on something then we wont have anything that makes us happy because we'll be fighting over each other. 2. *Once we agree on the things that should be IAP vs IGC.* We need to *make our voices LOUD AND CLEAR.* If we dont say anything cause we feel helpless and powerless, then we are giving all of our power to TGC. We still need to be kind of course but we need to be assertive. *And if they make us unhappy we make our voices more clear. Worst comes to worst, bring out the megaphones and make it more noticeable.*

THE BEST TIME TO USE MY EAH (Ever After High) SKY COSPLAY IS THIIIIISSS WINTEEEEERRRRR So in the last small event collab (Cinnamoroll) I saw the teacup hat and knew I had to made a madeline hatter (Daughter of the mad hatter) cosplay with it in sky. Took several attempts but I think it turned out better than I expected. I tried it with the days of style hat too (the purple one) and it kinda works except the hair glitches through the hat a bit. If I somehow get the multiple stacked hats, I would also have to see if it will work with this too. I doubt it but if it works it'll be adorable.
Knowing the TCG and remembering the collab with Sanrio, IGC will probably be the bow and the mug prop, I loved the rabbit hair, but it will probably come with the Rabbit hat to inflate the price of the hair
While thres a chance of that being the case, the reason it was like that for the Sanrio collab was due to legal contracts with the IP. Alice in wonderland(the book specifically, which is what sky's basing this off of) is public domain, which would give them a lot more freedom with the prices.
Oh man, I wrote a whole bunch earlier, because I kept having excited thoughts with each new thing here, then I worried it was just too long and deleted it. 😅 Bottom line though, I’m loving how cozy, nostalgic, and sweet this all looks, and Days of Feast is also one of my favorite events. Great idea TGC for a public domain work as the basis for the event, and the books everywhere plus the new reading emote have me wondering if they might source more old classics and fairytales in the future? That would be so cool! Also, really hoping we see snow fall from our nest windows during the snowy season in Sky. 😃

I actually gasped when I read beta updates. I remember thinking during the cinnamorol event the cafe would be a cute place for an Alice in wonderland collab. Though I never left feedback thinking it wasn't gonna happen anyway. I guess others did or some people at tgc had similar ideas 😂 Whenever people asked what I wished tgc would collab with / what story fits the world of sky, I'd say Alice in Wonderland. Though I would've preferred this to be its own season rather than a small event (because come on it's Alice in wonderland!!) I'm still super excited for this event and the cosmetics

In this case people use collab to refer to any known IP/ Story not originating from the main game being put in the main game. A bit weird terminology but it works. It's also why the Sky The Two Embers seasons are considered collabs even though it's an IP from TGC. It's not from the main sky game, it's not from the main game, it's from a seperate series outside the main game.

I have questions about some of TGCs decisions, but that's out of character for my expectations of them. So it has to be some other reasoning. But then why call it a collaboration? The implication for collabs is there is a second design team and/or marketing team with different goals and priorities they have to consider, and they are implicitly asking for grace for anything that steps outside Sky's typical design mode or philosophy. Primary drive here is almost always marketing and brand awareness for the collab partner. Two embers being a collab made sense, because despite being the same franchise, it was intentionally drawing attention to the second IP. But, along that line...who is benefiting from increased attention to a public domain property? TGC just using an extant event name style, for familiarity and ease of development, despite the intent mismatch, does make sense though. --- Idk. Personal take here, but not a fan. Hiding behind the label of collab divorces the company from admitting there is no external pressure. It's purely their internal business direction to make an event focused around selling cosmetics. Don't get me wrong, looks like there might be some fun game play to go along with it--but the immersion breaking style change? We're not building on the world of Sky, and investing in the depth and breadth of the IP? Sky has plenty of magic that could be leveraged as lore, and expanded for similar gameplay experiences. Why break into a different design philosophy (especially when different IPs come with emotional baggage attached) distracting from Sky's culture? I find it a weird choice, and would kind of like some alternative takes here. No doubt I've got some perspective bias, so wouldn't mind checking in on others' take away.
I'm pretty excited for this collaboration and hopefully TGC prices it's relatively cheap! My phone can't handle Sky for longer time periods like how it used to a year or so ago and me being forced to be afk and burning my phone up is very upsetting. it's designed after the original Alice from the books, her dress is yellow with blue accents :)

This is a collaboration with...who, exactly? Alice in Wonderland is in the public domain. Isn't this just a themed Days of Feast, run only by TGC?
In this case people use collab to refer to any known IP/
Story not originating from the main game being put in the main game. A bit weird terminology but it works.
It's also why the Sky The Two Embers seasons are considered collabs even though it's an IP from TGC. It's not from the main sky game, it's not from the main game, it's from a seperate series outside the main game.

I thought--surely they are not collecting money from purchases and *not* telling us who benefits. I have questions about some of TGCs decisions, but that's out of character for my expectations of them. So it has to be some other reasoning.
But then why call it a collaboration?
The implication for collabs is there is a second design team and/or marketing team with different goals and priorities they have to consider, and they are implicitly asking for grace for anything that steps outside Sky's typical design mode or philosophy. Primary drive here is almost always marketing and brand awareness for the collab partner. Two embers being a collab made sense, because despite being the same franchise, it was intentionally drawing attention to the second IP.
But, along that line...who is benefiting from increased attention to a public domain property?
TGC just using an extant event name style, for familiarity and ease of development, despite the intent mismatch, does make sense though.

Idk. Personal take here, but not a fan. Hiding behind the label of collab divorces the company from admitting there is no external pressure. It's purely their internal business direction to make an event focused around selling cosmetics.
Don't get me wrong, looks like there might be some fun game play to go along with it--but the immersion breaking style change? We're not building on the world of Sky, and investing in the depth and breadth of the IP? Sky has plenty of magic that could be leveraged as lore, and expanded for similar gameplay experiences. Why break into a different design philosophy (especially when different IPs come with emotional baggage attached) distracting from Sky's culture?
I find it a weird choice, and would kind of like some alternative takes here. No doubt I've got some perspective bias, so wouldn't mind checking in on others' take away.

Also I'm so annoyed that TGC is sticking with this new wax currency. It makes my game crash way more often. My phone can't handle Sky for longer time periods like how it used to a year or so ago and me being forced to be afk and burning my phone up is very upsetting. I hope TGC listens to their community and gets rid of it! 😓
