Hi Leslie, When you were talking about cucumber sandwiches, I remembered something I hadn’t thought about in years (decades). The only time I ever ate cucumber sandwiches was at the beach. I have always lived near the beach so when I was young, my Mom would make a lunch for me to take to the beach. It was white bread, a slice of American cheese, and Hellman’s mayonnaise. The bread would get warm, the cheese would partially melt, and the sandwich was delicious. I can almost taste it. Thanks for triggering a happy memory. Prayers for your family.

What I would do on the onion slices. I would mince them and spread them on the sandwich, that way the whole piece of onion would come out with one bite.

Morning ! Hello from Florida ! Watching your second super bowl snack video while having my coffee. I heard you say you were waiting for Your cream cheese to get soft . Here’s a tip to do it super fast . Get a cup or two of real warm water almost hot but not . Put your cream cheese that is still in the silver wrapper in a zip lock bag and seal it . Now stick the zip lock into the water and in just like 5 to 8 minutes your cream cheese is super soft .
