I have been waiting for the past 6 months or so to see this content. I am really excited to see this project's progress over the coming months. Keep up with your excellent content 😊
The CVAs are great for the tt-02. I have the same ones in my car. They really help in the speed runs, along with the metal ball joints. They make the car much more stable.
The smootheness will help when you get higher speeds. Tge best thing is the servo saver, steering and link kit. Witt the last nods you have done it will feel like a proper RC car as I feel Tamiya are noce but not sucj a good car too you ppor a lot of money in to them. I think mother nature needs to upgrade the sand on your beach it just looks like rocks compared to the white sands in Australia and Asia, have god one cheers.
There’s sand when the tide is out, but you’re right, it’s a pebble beach and the water quality is very poor Going to be upgrading the steering soon but you throw a lot of money at these cars to get them right. Thanks for watching and your comments.
Honestly, tt-02’s are money pits, they are pretty terrible stock so need upgrading immediately, the stock steering set up is particularly bad as are the stock upper and lower arms as they have way too much movement. Once fully upgraded though, they are absolute beasts and are alot of fun😂. I really like how you are going about this as you will be able to accurately pin point which upgrades give you the best results. Instead of just throwing parts at it and hoping for the best😎👍🏼
It’s easy to fall down the rabbit hole of hop ups and just cover the car in blue aluminium, but is it any good!! Just seen how fast I can get it with a brushed motor and some basic understanding.
IMHO RC company’s should only sell their new cars with real shocks . Old reproduced models , sure pogo stick them ! TT02 chassis with the GT40 body and pogo sticks ? McClaren Etc…etc…. Tamiya Wake up I know your trying to keep costs down but most people who build these cars are experienced wrenchers! I’d be willing to pay a few bucks more for a real aluminum shock in the kits . Otherwise I love em !

Thank you. Very kind of you to say those words. Hopefully we’ll be going faster soon. Currently awaiting some nice weather when I’m off work.

Certainly feels better to drive and will prove worthy as we go faster (I hope)
That car sounded great!! Low noise, = efficiency , efficiency = speed. That motor may already be running at top RPM.
Thanks. Hopefully we can can more out of it when we change the pinion
You will be happy with the cva's. They work just fine.
A lot smoother drive. Will be noticed when we go faster.

Quick question. Do you have the stock servo saver in it? If so, ditch it and put in a solid servo horn. The servo saver makes it wobble horribly.
Will be upgrading the steering in the near future.

Would these parts fit in a TT01?
I haven’t seen them listed as an option for the TT01 from the site I buy from.
❤🏆🤩👑😇🔥👏😎🌞👍🤣
Thanks
Take it running nimh battery
Not gone lipo yet
Change motor mate
Have another motor await to go in. Going to play with the pinion and spur next.

It’s all about the on costs and how to get more money these days 🤷♂️
Trouble with that motor is higher rpm but no torque or pulling power as its a crap cheap motor
Couldn’t find much info on this motor but thought I’d give it a go for £11.
