Yeah, it is a beautiful city, but... you could have done the things (except the horse surfing) in tripoli... the oldest functional bath in lebanon (hammam el abed) and the best falafel you will ever taste is there. And you can visit the palm islands natural reserve and there is an island that you can walk on a bridge to reach it...
