@@gerrit-jannap8792 what he did too himself does no favour to him other than adding more pressure on his already heavy shoulder. Especially since he will carry the Ferrari. I know everyone is different but I don't see F1 World Champions that does that.
Charles tend to underperformed under pressure. I genuinely think that this race is the time he conquered that. But then he does that mistakes. Maybe he should be more relaxed.
Leclerc's passion, and still being aware enough to congratulate Seb shows how strong he will be in the future.

@@Pattefolle Yes, it's secret sauce, without the meat. There's enough people who are honest harsh critics on themselves and improve from it. But if you don't have the means (meats) to actually put it into the world it's just sauce. Who eats pure sauce?
It's also why I am so at odds with Lewis' "This is for all the kids out there..." line. If Lewis didn't have a father who basically sacrificed himself for his son working multiple jobs, he wouldn't be a seven time world champion now. To achieve greatness, you yourself are not enough. You have to pool resources from many people. Some are fortunate enough that people willingly sacrifice themselves for them. Some steal from others one way or another.
"You can do it if you only believe in it" is just not pragmatic, and easy to say if you forget all the sacrifices that have been made for you. Just think, if someone sacrifices themselves, that means they can't achieve themselves anymore. Now every kid is supposed to be an achiever. But where are the supporters supposed to come from? I really dislike these kinds of hollow pep talks.

Hulkenberg: First time?
It wasn’t really his fault tho. Obviously he could of managed the tires but it’s worth mentioning he picked up damage which caused his race to fall apart
Also note he really didn't want that tire change at that point in the race. I wonder what other options there were, given that he had to change at some point. But I feel like Lance was considering the possibility of staying out just tiny bit longer and then gambling on slicks. Could have worked, could have failed spectacularly, but certainly would have been better than changing to inters on a mostly drying track and wasting them immediately.
There was a problem with the front wing which resulted in a slower pace and also contributed to the tire wear as the car was not gripping as it should. RP tweeted that out today and they said that it wasnt Strolls fault, in fact Im kinda surprised that he was able to maintain the tires for that long
Theres a difference between stroll and hulkenberg. Stroll already has a podium! 😂😂😂

it's just how he is, he really throws all the criticism at himself and then seems to rise above it. these guys are ridiculously competitive, and what works for them works /shrug
Can't help but feel sorry for Leclerc there, he lost a lot in that corner. Missed out on a historic podium up there with Hamilton while he tied Shumackers record. But at the same time Seb and Hamilton have shared a lot of historical moments together, it was nice to see it one last time. Great mental fortitude from Leclerc to congratulate Seb even in his lowest moment. He has a bright future in F1 and I have high hopes for him in 2021.
