Penalties Lewis: What happened? What happened!? Daniel: Ok, I’ll driver faster! Yeah that’s my bad Kimi: For what?! FORRRRR WHATTTTTT?!!!!!! That’s diversity right there!
Everyone might have noticed. After every radio message. Ricciardo says Understood. It literally sends chills. He sounds like a spec ops operator and is locked in 😬
This is obvious but- Ricciardo blatantly cut a corner and anticipated a penalty, meanwhile Lewis asked if his practice starts were ok and his team said yes. Big difference in how fair those feel.
Ok Hamilton, asked what he did wrong multiple times, was told multiple times what he did wrong, complained all race long and *after* the race While Ricciardo, was told why he got the penalty, then said ok I’ll drive faster
You do realised that Danny Ric only had to drive a tad faster and manage a five seconds gap between him and Charles cause his time penalty was going to be added to his final time. Lewis on the other hand, had to serve his time penalty as a stop go (which is WAY worse than just a plain 10 seconds penalty) in the pits because he hadn't pitted when the penalty was announced. That literally meant that the opportunity to fight for a win on an already sub optimal strategy (soft tyres as compared to mid on both Bottas and Max) was straight up ripped out of his hands. For an incident that was grey at best. So yes, while it's commendable that Danny had a positive reaction to his penalty, please do not throw shade at Lewis for his reaction towards the penalty because it was an entirely different situation.
Sebastian is the only driver who has made a significant progress. Even significant is less a word for the kind of language he was using last year and how SO MUCH BALANCED HE IS THIS YEAR. HIS RADIO messages are the best. Well done Seb. Keep going
He did. Even if Hamilton didn't had penalty, Bottas would have won. He's not the best driver out there, but he was on pace, made no mistakes, had better tyre strategy and it's the track he likes a lot.
@@PlayTrickBLOGSPOT Bottas didn't make any mistake because noone was close enough. You think if Lewis was on his tail the whole race he wouldn't have distroyed his tyres or made a mistake? Chance are he would have. Again there's every chance would have won anyway, definitely not guaranteed. It's nothing but if,buts, and maybes. A win is a win
@@_Rafiki. maybe. I still think he would have won. I had a gut feeling after Saturday, that Bottas will jump on and get the top step in a race. Happened slightly different way I thought it will, but still happened.
Respect for Riccardo. He admitted he made a mistake. Not like others that complain when they get penalised. He just put his head down and focused, yet he still got p5.
Hamilton gets a penalty: “Where is that in the rule book?” and then “That’s ridiculous” Ricciardo gets a penalty: “My bad guys, I’ll make up for it” - *AND ACTUALLY DOES* Don’t get me wrong, Lewis is a great driver and he’s always humble and polite, but that’s only when he’s winning (which let’s be fair, it’s most of the time). But every time things go South, he blames sth else and complains a lot. I hope Ricciardo will do great in Mclaren next year, he’s still the king of overtaking and his attitude just shows what a great driver he is and how aggregating he can be. Besides, with Lando and Daniel in the same team, Mclaren will be a meme factory!
Different contexts, Ham asked his pit crew if its ok to do practice starts and they ok'd it. His pit crew is responsible for Ham's 2×5s penalties and costed Lewis another victory. Ricciardo on the other hand made a driver error and he knew he was in the wrong right after, hence him trying to recoup the lost time from his penalty. Someone who should've gotten a penalty however was Leclerc after basically hitting Stroll causimg him to retire while Leclerc gets away scott free. Not even an investigation was carried out. That alone is some massive bs.
You are right and definitely it wasn't the same context and Lewis was surprised. But when we look at things getting tough on Ham, such as his penalty in Monza or when verstappen was quicker in 70th and he said that there was no way he could be faster than the mercs, I can't think of one team radio that he actually don't blame on something else... I still think he's one of the greatest pilot I'm f1 history, but he does have an attitude and a difficulty to deal with frustration.. Maybe that's what makes his such a skillful driver, who knows... But it's still an atitude that might not be the best team wise :) And yeah, it was an error from Dani Ric, but again I ask, how many drivers do you see actually manning up for their mistakes and actually fixing it?
I wouldn’t go so far as to call Lewis a great driver, but he definitely can beat midfield drivers like Bottas and Rosberg most of the time. Put everyone in equal cars and things would look a lot different

@@villiamvankekem3693 Just like he's saying now that the car is off and he hasn't used the proper switch yet. Stroll will never get it because he can't process everything while driving.
Cause he is a baby
Villiam van Kekem because the steering wheel is completely turned and maybe he’s confused
Danial is so kind to his team that’s one of the reasons why he’s my favourite driver
It feels weird Lando being angry with Carlos. Feels like a younger brother getting angry at his older brother
Ditto.. surprising that he said that. Wonder what Sainz would.have thought about that
Yeah it bothered me hearing him talk about Carlos like that and Lando is my favorite driver.
Well... he had to brake really hard to avoid crashing into him. So his race was completely ruined at this moment. Anyone would be mad, even at his bro.
How dare Mercedes try to imitate Ferrari’s Master🅱️lan

THANK you
3:28 Cheers, Daniel. Such a nice guy.
Hearing Pierre Hamelin (Gasly's engineer) is like hearing a Kiwi accent, they always sound slightly amused. I love it
they have the same name? what are the odds of that
@@GloomGaiGar i think he's Kvyat's
Haha yeah. A little smile comes across my face whenever I hear "okey pieah.."
Gasly calling an Alpha Romeo, Sauber is an Alpha moment😂
Following Seb and Kimi's footsteps when last year they called a Racing Point "Force India" on 2 different races.
*Alfa Romeo
He is not false. The team is still Sauber, just the label is Alfa. 🤓😂
@@v12ts.gaming even Norris said it and he wasn’t even in F1 when they were still force India, kimi would have been proud
I keep calling those alfa romeo cars "sauber" though
3:37 THIS is how real champions handle such a situation.
Coming back here after ricciardo got the penalty in mexico 2022 and remind me of his radio in this race
2:58 "Shut up, Bono"
"Copy that"
That radio message from Lando was freaking awesome. Ricardo is the most professional on his radio. Message from Bottas was just on another level
"You have 5 seconds penalty"
"Ok, I will drive faster.
That's my bad I make up for it"
Be careful, he is a hero.
Riccardo was so calm about it. Really nice driver
Ricciardo! What a Lad!
Penalties
Lewis: What happened? What happened!?
Daniel: Ok, I’ll driver faster! Yeah that’s my bad
Kimi: For what?! FORRRRR WHATTTTTT?!!!!!!
That’s diversity right there!
Danny Ric is easily one of the most likable dudes in a top echelon sport
I like that they're now showing the context of the radio messages (eg. showing Carlos' crash then Lando's reaction)
3:27 What a nice character Dani
3:46
I love how Grosjean just drives through the chicane 😂
I really REALLY want to see K Mag in a competitive car again, what a pure racer!!!
Everyone might have noticed. After every radio message. Ricciardo says Understood. It literally sends chills. He sounds like a spec ops operator and is locked in 😬
_Time Penalty_
Hamilton: wHeRe Is ThAt In ThE rUlEbOoK
Dan Ri-chad-do: I'll drive faster
well lewis asked on radio and was clearly told it's okay to do so, it should be a bit frustrating I suppose, Dany knew he made a mistake xD
This is obvious but- Ricciardo blatantly cut a corner and anticipated a penalty, meanwhile Lewis asked if his practice starts were ok and his team said yes. Big difference in how fair those feel.
@@durodesduvo8424 Lewis had a massive rant after he finished as well.
Ok Hamilton, asked what he did wrong multiple times, was told multiple times what he did wrong, complained all race long and *after* the race
While Ricciardo, was told why he got the penalty, then said ok I’ll drive faster
3:15 Gasly : " I have a Sauber in front " 😂😂😂
Hamilton: " Mi Mi Mi where's that in the rule book???"
Ricciardo: "Ok"
Sebastian is the only driver who has made a significant progress. Even significant is less a word for the kind of language he was using last year and how SO MUCH BALANCED HE IS THIS YEAR. HIS RADIO messages are the best. Well done Seb. Keep going
Lewis: what happened?
Engineer: ...
Lewis: What Happened?!
Kimi: For What?
Engineer: *Sad silence and hesitation*
Kimi: FOR WHAAAAT!!????
Daniel is the only guy who doesn’t completely lose it and swear and blame the other drivers
Hamilton: What happened?!
Bottas: To whom it may concern...
***** you! ( again 😀 )
😂😂😂
Sad thing is Bottas thinks he won on merit
He did. Even if Hamilton didn't had penalty, Bottas would have won. He's not the best driver out there, but he was on pace, made no mistakes, had better tyre strategy and it's the track he likes a lot.
@@muckyvagrant3632 A win is a win. simple as that.
"you have a 5 second penalty"
"My bad, I'll go faster!"
That's a strong attitude my guy
4:55
Bottas: "To whom it may concern... ****** you!"
Remember in Australian GP 2019?
Respect for Riccardo. He admitted he made a mistake. Not like others that complain when they get penalised. He just put his head down and focused, yet he still got p5.
Last time I was this fast, Seb was picking his front wing from the ground :(
Ricciardo deserves to be a champion. With his humble and uplifting attitude he could be the face of F1 drivers any day!
Who else is disappointed that Putin wasn’t there
me
Same here hahaha
I just hopped that he walked a long way lol
No thicc meme in Sochi sadly
Hamilton spraying Putin. One day later Hamilton dead lol
The radio message of VB after the victory was GOLD🔥🔥
2:32 Kimi: For what? *FOR WHAT?*
Who swears? All the drivers. But Daniel is the one that can make me smile when I hear the beep.
Radio: "You have a penalty"
Other Drivers: *"REEEEE"*
Danny Ricc: "My bad, will drive faster"
You can't coach attitude. Danny Ric is priceless!!
Hamilton gets a penalty: “Where is that in the rule book?” and then “That’s ridiculous”
Ricciardo gets a penalty: “My bad guys, I’ll make up for it” - *AND ACTUALLY DOES*
Don’t get me wrong, Lewis is a great driver and he’s always humble and polite, but that’s only when he’s winning (which let’s be fair, it’s most of the time).
That alone is some massive bs.
verstappen even admitted that the stewards was too harsh on hamilton so i get why hes mad
But it's still an atitude that might not be the best team wise :)
And yeah, it was an error from Dani Ric, but again I ask, how many drivers do you see actually manning up for their mistakes and actually fixing it?
diff is ricardo knew the penalty was coming, lewis was unaware of said penalty
I wouldn’t go so far as to call Lewis a great driver, but he definitely can beat midfield drivers like Bottas and Rosberg most of the time. Put everyone in equal cars and things would look a lot different
Gotta love Ricciardo ... no excuses, takes the responsibility and makes a joke on himself....
