I can't thank you enough for recommending the Hask hair mask. I had waist-length fine hair that looked neglected & shabby but this mask is amazing. After using it only twice even my hubby complimented me on how soft & pretty it looks now. It's smooth, shiny & healthy-looking. I also love the light scent.

I am finding with just about any hair mask that I use to leave it on for a good hour and wrap it up in a plastic bag or insulated towel before rinsing. It makes SUCH a huge difference. Now...when you get into using masks...over time they can build up so it's important to use a good clarifier every other treatment.

I picked up the Haritage transforming mask and I'm in love. I'm 55 with naturally wavy (fine) gray hair. I haven't dyed in four years outside of things like Artic Fox or Overtone. I use those when I get an urge to start dyeing my hair again. Even though my hair is virgin and chemical free, I still use heat to style as I prefer straighter hair over my waves and curls. As a result my ends still show some damage since I have to use a little more heat to get the waves out. I picked this up and decided to just work some into my dry hair in the lengths. Already it looks better. Winter has been tough and has contributed to my dry and frizzy woes. Wavy hair + gray hair = new learning curve for me. I haven't used masks and treatments like I used to when it was chemically treated, and now I see I still need to treat it well. I've also used the Hask in the past and will reach for those again. My hair loves coconut oil too.

I may be picking up the Hask Mask and the Elvive Mask sometime soon. I also wanted to hear your thoughts about one of my favorite hair masks and that is the Garnier Fructis Damage Repairing Treat 3 in 1 Hair Mask. Whew! That was a mouthful! Lol I may end up buying it again but I feel like my hair needs protein since I literally sucked everything out of my hair since dying it. I really didn’t think that using a dye that is free of many damaging ingredients would do what it did to my hair. Thanks again! I’m looking forward to your thoughts about the mask! I was using Kerstase, and as much as I love it, I realized that they are the same company-L’Oréal & Kerastase, and the L’Oréal one is sooo much cheaper. Do yourself a favor and try a tub.

Do you color your hair? I've heard mixed things about how it is great for bleached/colored hair while others have said it causes their hair color to bleed out. I'm nervous to try it. 😬

Yes I color and bleach. But I also only use the mask from my ears down. I have not noticed a color bleed.

This made me want to go buy it!! I don't know why I have the stigma that if I use drug store my hair is going to fall out or that its just a cheap product. I think its all the youtubers constantly pushing high end products 😫 But yours and so many other comments are raving about the L’Oréal!! So ill give it a go!! Thanks for your comment!!

I have course, thick, hair and I LOVE HASK HANDS DOWN. I add it to the Manuka honey mask and use it everytime I condition. I leave it on for 45 minutes under shower cap. Using it by itself is amazing as well. Unlike the verb protein mask this DOES NOT dry my hair out or make it stringy. (The verb is OK AS LONG AS I ONLY LEAVE IT ON FOR A FEW MINUTES. no idea ingredient wise why.

Hi! The Verb mask is a protein treatment. If your hair (like mine) doesn't need much protein, leaving that treatment on too long will give a drying effect on the hair. In general, the coarser the hair, the less protein and more moisture it needs. My hair likes tiny silk amino acids but not a lot of non hydrolozed proteins. Hope this helps!

Always enjoy your videos especially on hair even if I just found the best hair mask ever and I’ve used a ton. I became a VIP for Monat in 2017, but don’t sell it. I Used it exclusively for about 2 years. I use it quite often now but have mixed in Olaplex, pureology strength cure, and a few others watching your videos. The mask is a new one of theirs “Advanced Hydrating in shower masque”For moisture. My hair has never felt so silky and moisturized. I even got it on EBay from a reputable Seller for a good price. Highly recommend it. My hair on 2nd day still feels great!

Please be careful if you try Monat ... the company is an MLM, they make most of their money by recruiting people to sell for them, then pay those sellers very, very little.
For more info, I believe Illuminaughti has a video on them.
I can't speak about the product quality, I don't buy from MLMs. It might be awesome, it might be just ok.

@@lizcademy4809 I have had great success with Monat. I don’t sell it.but love many of their products. I have heard all those claims before but it hasn’t happened to me or anyone I know. In fact this is the best masque I have tried. I can ‘t believe these claims if my hair is better since I began using it.

I would love to see a review of the matrix hydrosource line!! I've been using the shampoo and masque for about 6 months and my hair started falling out!! Not just breakage but strands straight from my roots. Its to the point that I could literally run my fingers through my hair and pull out about 10 strands+ of hair. I stopped using it for the past couple of week and i *think* ive noticed a slight improvement for the better?? We will see. I would love a review!!! And if any one else in the comments has some insight I am all ears!!

Abbey.. I really love and appreciate your informative videos!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Is it my imagination or does hair get “tired” of products?? I used to LOVE the Moroccan Oil Smoothing mask, but then after awhile it didn’t seem to have the same effect!! I’ve had several bottles of Olaplex 8 … but the same seems to happen!! It’s very frustrating to spend $$$ on hair products.
My concerns are a bit different. I have aging, 75%+ gray but am/was naturally medium blonde. I am 66 and am not ready to let the gray takeover so I get an overall cool-beige color (occasional few foil highlights mostly in winter here in Michigan). Luckily my grow-out is graceful because I don’t have a huge, root-color disparity. What I’ve noticed, though, is that my [new, aging] hair texture, which was always silky and shiny in my youth (naturally straight, medium/fine, but pretty thick), is now less silky and more textured. I think, based on this review, it might be worth trying a few of these. I’m thinking the Hask and the Shea Moisture. Any thoughts on this “mature hair” conundrum?? Thanks!!

Hey, I've been trying to find the video where you mentioned it ok and beneficial to use oils before heat tools and that it wont fry your hair?
Could you do a video explaining this I cant find any info on it, I really wanted to use pure argen oil on my damp hair but have read so many things saying it will deep fry your hair if you use a straightener once dry? Yet morrocan oil has argan oil and silicones and meant to work very well as a heat protectant, I'm very confused! Thanks x
