Dolling out wisdom like it’s fast food - this everyday wise man has some interesting words to say about how to treat your customer and maintaining integrity.
London’s most popular form of takeaway eatery is the Fried Chicken Shop. Most of these low-cost urban eateries are run by migrant workers that have to deal with some of London’s finest clientele - and it’s never a dull moment in the shop on a Friday night - especially in Clapham.

A big well done to the member of staff that grabbed the attacker and obvious thief as he tried to rob the till. No telling who that idiot could of hurt in a hot kitchen. What if he had not been restrained - the possibility of a member of staff being burnt by hot oil is a definite possibility. There will be no retaliation as he will spend the next 18 months behind bars. I believe you will get more thumbs up 👍 than down.

It’s amazing how police/security got there right away instead of the normal two hour wait. The other amazing thing is that nothing got smashed up like you normally see in the usual phone filmed vertical freakout videos you see online. This is absolutely authentic and totally not fake at all.

Im embarrassed to say my father opened a kebab shop in the local rough town. We were fighting everyother week. Even when the shop closed, years after we still ended up in the odd fight over it when we went out for a drink.

This happens a lot in our Bangladeshi restaurant. Customers would budge in after 12am closing time while us waiters tell them sorry we are closed you have to leave but they refuse to get out. Bloody idiots.

I know the serving guys were upset but they did well to stay calm with the 'customer'. None of them did anything wrong, it was a stressful few moments but they did not, IMHO, use unreasonable force. Give yourselves a break guys.
I feel for those workers, they don't deserve that crap. But seriously, you open a takeaway late at night in these areas to get customers that have been boozing. Unfortunately one thing does go with the other.
