Bro I just got back into this game after like six years and I was never good at it in the first place haha. Thanks for your tutorial! I’m gonna keep watching. I didn’t realize traffic backed up because I created an intersection right at the entrance to the city. Thanks for the tips!
Thank you for explaining how much roads affect SimCity. I’ve been looking everywhere but was never able to understand until I found your video! I can finally start of with the right foot :)
I always start a game and develop it into a high educated folk, then make computerchips. This brings in so much money you can finance another city entirely.
Alot of great info in this, thanks. What are your thoughts on curved roads instead of the angled or t-junctions? It does not interrupt traffic flow, I use it at times to leviate traffic overload, that way I have less time stopped. Seem to work pretty good, but for late game it is probably not as good?
build a medium density avenue around the city after taking out all 3 25k bonds, then build a medium density avenue from the city entrance and place only grids, curved roads take up too much space, then zone industrial where the wind updraft takes the air pollution away from residential and place a coal powerplant, then zone commercial in between industrial and the residential you will zone, zone residential then place a hydro water pumping station next to a river or on a rich water deposit, people will move in and you make money
I followed this tutorial but I still get the problem of Industrial being unhappy because they need more commercial building or where to ship freight. What could possibly be done here?
Industry needs to ship freight. They'll ship to commercial and/or a trade depot. Place a trade depot with freight lots. They should fill up. You may need multiple. Also check your traffic. Delivery trucks may be having traffic issues
You start out with only 50,000 simoleons. That's to cover water, sewage, power and roads A decent stretch of a streetcar highway could blow the budget all by itself. Once the city is financially secure then you can upgrade roads. As the tutorial progresses I upgrade the roads. For a beginner's guide it's safest to start with dirt roads
Game is such a vibe, the music, the animations, the sound effects, the aesthetic, nothing can compare to charm of this game.
Agree 👍

Yep. That's how I typically start the first city of a region.
Love the level of detail of your explanations!
Thank you!
Wow I never considered how traffic and layout were this important this early on!
Traffic is vital to the success of a city.
Thanks for this! New Cities game came out and gave me the itch to play a city-sim. Not enough to buy a new game, but enough to fire up an old classic.
You are welcome. Have fun!
Loved the tips, man its 2023 and SimCity still has the better simulation of all sims games. Too bad the city sizes are crap.
You're welcome. Yes. Still a nice looking and running simulation.
Well done. Thank you! You’re the truth! The world needed you for this forsure!!
Thank you so much. I'm glad the videos are helping you.

You're right. Curved roads are excellent. Anything to keep traffic from having to come to a complete stop.
this video is so helpful!! thank you so much!
You're welcome.
This really helped me out and I appreciate it thanks a lot!❤
Glad it helped!

That's a nice start. At some point some of the residents will complain they can't get to shopping if commercial is zoned that way.
Great feedback!
So I'm doing the right stuff in the beginning just need to tweak a little things here and there. Maybe not rush so much and not speed up the game.
Okay
Thank you so much for this guide
You're welcome. I hope it's helpful.
Hello, great videos, did you consider opening a twitch channel?
Hello. Yes I have thought about it. Maybe someday.
I hear there's no terraforming in this game. Does it have the walk the streets feature?
No terraforming or walk the streets in this version.
which version of simcity is this game ? the full name of the game please
and thanks for the beginner guide
This is the 5th version of the Simcity series. It's official name is "Simcity"
I followed this tutorial but I still get the problem of Industrial being unhappy because they need more commercial building or where to ship freight. What could possibly be done here?

Your voice is like Dennis McKenna be playing SC on shrooms🍄
I'm cracking up.
Why are your starting streets so small? What if you want to put in streetcars?
You start out with only 50,000 simoleons. That's to cover water, sewage, power and roads
A decent stretch of a streetcar highway could blow the budget all by itself.

Genius
Thank you.
you could really become a city mayor i guess.
Thank you
Is it free? If yes, where can i download that game
