My father in law had a 316(the Onan kind) sitting outside for about 20 years. I took possession of it and have slowly been working on getting parts to get it running again. A few years back, I got a spinal injury working at a dairy farm, so I want to build a 3 point for that 316. I have a 210, but I know raising and lowering via the manual lever is going to end up causing me some pain. After watching this series, you have given me some ideas for how to go about building it, as I can't justify spending $500+ for a 3 point on a free tractor
I got a weight box for my 420 and it seems all I'll need to do is remove the rock shaft and then plates to mount the box to since theres spring loaded pins like on plows. I hope all goes good. I really enjoy your builds in case I'll do one. Thanks
Nice job. I’ve got a 400 and will follow your build to do mine. Thanks for posting
Thanks, it really did work pretty well. You will definitely need ballast weight on the rear.

Fantastic!.. strong build, great looking too!! ..but what would an aftermarket 3point hitch cost
About $400. Ruegg makes them
@@SkylarHillShop I just looked at the Ruegg one,.. I think yours looks stronger.
