Great description and video of the hitch you made, steel sizes and dimensions listed. Well done sir. Your description of how the Brinkley adapter and how the hitch pivot worked helps a lot in my next project.
Several years ago through Ebay I bought what is basically the main loop from a Wheel Horse sleeve hitch. I’m going to adapt it to one of my Toro 5xi tractors and make my own lift linkage.
Nice hitch setup. Wish I had your fabrication skills. I would recommend welding some 5/8" spring loaded pins to it. Trying to reach up into the frame to remove the mounting bolts and nuts is a PITA.
MichaelTJD60 hey thanks , I don't plan to ever remove it so it's fine for now , I also could put some weights on it as well if I get a plow for it or possibly make a plow to work, gotta get another video of it painted up also her soon
chooster5000 Thank you for the reply, I just subscribed. How much can your hitch lift?. Mine can only lift the brinly box scraper with about 30 pounds on it. I am new to JD. Thanks again for your time.
FullMetalFab I’m still here but just have no time to do videos really much , have a family now with two girls and a full time job working on sub compacts to Farm tractors. I still mess with some of the garden tractors but not very often

Watching this video gives me confidence that I can adapt an NOS Murray 24801 sleeve hitch to the rear of my Toro 522xi or 520xi.
Any chance you starting up the channel again?
Good job. Seems to have plenty of lifting strength
how much would u charge to make one?
Where've you been?
is there a place you can buy something similar?
Great fabrication work, so why didnt you just build a cat-0 or cat-1 hitch ?
Good job. looks like it will do the job for sure.
Great video, I'm trying to design one for a newer Husqvarna gth52xls
I have to make one for my gt6000 ,its a beast.
Nice work !!
I was looking for the plans on the website and couldn't find them, could you email them to me?
Would you consider restoring a IH cadet?
I would if I had the time to do so anymore
Does this sleeve hitch have down pressure?
It doesn’t have down pressure it just floats

I’m not quite sure since I only put the Brinley plow of the back of it, I have sold it a while ago at this point
The website doesn't work.
