    As a Thresh Main, I always "test" the enemy on how they dodge. If they are trying to predict my hook or just straight run away. I "learn" the enemy movements.

    I love how informative this was, and I love how good your content is in skill-capped. Im a member there as well and have not regretted it. How ever, I find it frustrating how close these hp gaps are even though you seem to doge everything. Its so unfair.. I mean she literally misses everything for it to go in your favor and margins are still small. . I feel this part is not ballanced by riot. Either fizz becomes to strong or to weak, I wish these gaps were much bigger like you can see between a well skilled toplaner vs poor toplaner

    Idk I keep thinking some people just have an easier time learning these things than others. I've known about how to bait abilities as a concept for a long time, but I just completely suck at reading my opponent and learning their patterns. If you asked me how most of my opponents move, I probably can't tell you what it is. I sort of feel it's one of those things you either pick up over time or you just don't.

    • @chocopieaddict9792
      @chocopieaddict9792 Рік тому +2

      this sort of thing you need to keep attempting, throwing away everything else to get a feel for it. most of my friends have played way too long and have developed muscle memories that hinder them instead, they dont think when they need to

    • @lordlampard7510

      This is because you are focused on more than one thing at a time.
      I would advice you to practice dodging skillshots solely, get into a custome game with a bot and focus only on dodging skillshots, work on your mouse movements and clicks (don't click far from your champion model) , and play few games of normals with 2 goals in mind (dodging skillshots & learning the opponent's pattern).
      Be patient and test different movements.
      This will helps you a lot if you apply it.

    • @Kamishi845
      @Kamishi845 Рік тому

      @@lordlampard7510 it's pointless practicing skillshots vs a bot because a bot doesn't even play like a human does. They don't use skillshots around trade patterns and so on and so forth. I've played the game for years and unless the opponent is really obvious I don't know how to pick up patterns. It's not just League, it's for any action game. You could ask me patterns for any Elden Ring boss and I wouldn't know that either. Hence I state for some people this comes naturally but for others it doesn't.

    • @lordlampard7510
      @lordlampard7510 Рік тому

      @@Kamishi845 I'm sorry i thought you were a newbie, that's why i gave you that advice.
      But yeah it just comes down to reading your opponent and not being predictable; this is not just in league but in Chess, other games, and Sports also.
      If i were you i would keep on trying to learn until i finally get it, there is no such thing as "you either get it or not", most healthy humans have roughly the same mental capabilities, some have higher I.Qs but that's irrelevant in league because practice makes perfect in this game.
      Keep doing it until you get it.
      Best of luck dude

    • @Kamishi845
      @Kamishi845 Рік тому

      @@lordlampard7510 I don't think it's a matter of mental capabilities, I think it's just a matter of what you are more innately good at. I'm above average intelligence in some areas but I'm certainly below average in others.
      Even if people on average are roughly the same intelligence, that doesn't mean they excel at the same things in the same way. I have always been great at strategy, it comes very naturally for me to think and plan ahead and therefore I also enjoy a lot of those kinds of games. I also love analysis and I'm great at breaking things down or understanding connections between things or see abstract patterns. But that doesn't mean I'm great at reading visual ones. I score average on visual pattern recognition on intelligence tests for job applications but I could write a thesis about the connections of various human behaviors because that kind of pattern recognition comes very natural to me.
      You can certainly practice and learn any cognitive skill but given the time I've played this game and I still haven't picked this up in the way as described in this video, I just don't think that's something I'm innately good at whereas McBaze obviously is. But could McBaze reasonably sit down and write a university thesis about human social behavior or the way society works? That's not certainly true at all.

      You cant do anything against multiple overfed enemies, you can just wait for their mistake and hope your team will notice it. It's not rare to make mistakes especially in lategame, but it's rare for an opposite team to use it to close games

    I’m watching this and thought there’s no way my low elo opponents will show certain patterns when using skills shots. It feels random most of the time. For mid-high elo, when they know about contesting cs, this strategy is really good.

    • @burritogod59
      @burritogod59 Рік тому +7

      Wrong. They do have patterns. In low elo, they almost always throw a skill shot as soon as it's off cooldown and as soon as you get into range.

    Sorry to say but this is a very silly lesson, 2 given champs in early game won't teach you anything about skillshots in general, especially not any secret method. You wanna make money from LoL, so why is the clickbait title. Clickbait is a kind of deception, why would I trust you if you fool me. Be honest or I'll never buy your product. And btw 9:00 "...she doesn't have the damage to kill me..." - hahaha if she has ignite you are dead. She has the damage, just like you, but your timing was better. And btw just 5 minutes later you need a different strategy, just 15 minutes later you need to change again how you approach Lux. One champ better in early game other one is stronger in lategame, it's not about miracle skillshots. You might be better than this Lux player I donno, but your playing style depends on the momentary situation, position of other players, stage of the game, your lvl and your items ... so on ... many-many things, its quite complex. You can't explain and teach it all in 10 minutes.

  • @adamdecoder1
    @adamdecoder1 Рік тому

    So you had to dodge pretty much every single one of her skillshots to go even with her in HP and narrowly kill her on a lv4 spike...? Interesting. Seems like Lux has the much easier time in this lane, despite her being a "bad laner". If she was just slightly better, or if your assumptions about her skillshots were slightly off, this doesn't seem like it would be a close lane at all.

    • @pxd6638

      Classic melee Vs range... Just hit autos that are undodgeable

    • @Kamishi845
      @Kamishi845 Рік тому +1

      Lux is good into champions with less range than her because they don't pose as much of a threat to her and are easier to harass than other ranged champions are. Lux loses to champions with shorter CDs and stronger weave clear than her such as Xerath and Vel'koz. She also obviously loses to assassins if she plays the lane badly.
      Lux *is* a bad laner though, because her CDs are long and her abilities cost a lot of mana and the only way for her to deal consistent good harass is via autos. That's why she does better into medium range to short range champions because they're easier to auto tap when she lands an ability.
