- After finally getting the tires on the wheels I put the new setup onto the Ram with Casper and finally get closer to the look I always wanted. With a bit of trimming nothing rubs and the Ram Rebel has totally transformed into a beast of a machine. I never thought they would be able to fit WITHOUT a lift kit. Absolutely loving the look of these Black Rhino wheels on the 1500.

So stoked that you did this video. I have a 2019 rebel with the air ride and I can’t leave things stock. The black rhino rims are what I’ve been looking at and the best ones out there in my opinion so it’s awesome to see how it works out. Looking forward to see how the ride is before you get to lift. Question: If I install 35 x 12.50 x 20's do I still need a lift kit??? I put these tires on my 2014 1500 and now I have a negative camber issue going on...

I like the look I went -18 so they don't stick out and no trimming, I'm surprised they put the wheel weights on the outside instead of using stick on ones on the inside, she looks like a beast now can't wait to see the lift
Thanks man! I like the chunky wheel and tire look but definitely will get some fender flares. I wanted the weights on the wheel since they don't fall off as easy as the ones inside. I got them spray painted today so that they don't stick out so much. Stay safe bro!

What is the total lift from stock with air suspension ? I have coils and wanting to do 2.5 level on top of the already stock 1 inch for the rebels. Wondering if this same set up would rub less or more then yours is?
extra inch I believe for stock ride height.
Good lookin pickup. Quick question over Hubcentric rings. Looking over the comments I know you sold your truck a while ago but do you remember the exact measurements for the hubcentric rings that you got for that Rebel 1500?? Trying to figure out my vibration issues on my pickup
that's a difficult one to answer since I got the hub centric rings with the wheels so I'm not sure about the size. I don't have the truck as you said so I can't even measure it for ya

Tried to find in the comments so sorry if you already answered this but what front bumper is that and did you have to do anything special with the front sensor electronics?
ADD bumpers front and back. Bumpers come with cutouts for the original sensors but front ones are finicky to seat in
Looks great brother great vid. Only constructive criticism is to find some way to hide the wheel weights, maybe on the back of the wheel. Truck looks amazing, feel like the weights take away a bit from the over all look. Great video again

You've got the air ride right? You think you'd see similar results with the standard spring suspension?
I think the air suspension is one inch higher but not sure if that only applies to the off-road mode or not
Would 35x12.5x20 fit with a 2.5" level on the 2020 ram rebel without any trimming needed?
Not sure because even if you lift the thing up it might rub on certain angles when you turn the wheels
Ordering one of these trucks, does yours have air ride or no ? Looking to get the large tires like that without doing any lift , probably just spacers like you did . Any suggestions ?
Without a lift and with stock air suspension they will work but you're gonna rub a lot if you don't trim. Not sure about spacers though

So 35 x 12.5 x 20 will fit on a stock 2019 Ram 1500? I am looking into a 2 inch leveling kit.
With trimming it fit the air suspension equipped model. Can't say for sure of it would work with coils

yes you just need to add the bigger knuckles when ordering the kit from BDS.

Is your truck a Rebel? the 4x4 package it comes with lifts the truck by 1 inch compared to other models. you would need an extra inch to get to the same ride height my truck is at. I will be lifting it by 4 inches so in total compared to a stock Ram's ride height it will be 6 inches taller. BDS recommends a 35 inch tire with the air suspension and that 4 inch lift. If you have any more questions feel free to ask :)
Snowcat_srt Thanks man. I’m in a big horn. The stock wheels are too small and ride height too low, so I want to lift it and add bigger wheels. But I prefer when the wheel wells are filled rather than the big gaps on some of the bigger lifts. I just want to make sure I can fit the wheels. Its a headache having so many options haha

With these tires yes. I'm pretty sure if I got some better ones it would be much less. Sold the truck a little while ago and waiting for my TRX

Those would be fine as well. It's the width of the wheel that makes it rub. 20x12 tires were 35x12.5 👍

Same bolt pattern as stock

This kit is specifically designed for trucks with air suspension

@@PointWithin go to the BDS website (Google BDS suspension) head to the car list and find your model. There should be one lift kit that works with air suspension models

Can 35x12.50 r17 fit my stock no lift 2017 rebel 1500 with air suspension?
You will have to do a but of cutting for that to fit. I have a video on what I did to fit the 12 wides. 12.5 would be cutting it real close to rub I think. You would probably rub when articulating the suspension so going down steep driveways or multi story parking lots. I wouldn't recommend it if you still want to use it off road

Didn’t have to trim a thing in my 16 rebel with air shocks. Just saying. 0 backspaced wheels. The only time a get a little rub is when I turn hard and go over the curb for the driveway.

Yes Sir even when going up or down and out of rough driveways however I wouldn't go off roading without a lift kit since any sort of articulations may cause one of the wheels to hit the body
