    Can't tell you how long I've been trying to work out how to create a circle tabletop with rounded edges. Legend.

    How did he get the circle to float up from the corner of the rectangle? I can't figure it out. That's really neat.

    You don't say what the command is, you don't hover over the command - and guess what ? I have 2017 and it doesn't have that icon in my toolbox.....

      @nonconsensualopinion 4 роки тому +1

      Late, but in case it helps others the command is "follow me" and is often in the set of tools under "push/pull".

    Reading the comments it would seem that this is a totally useless video and guess what I agree... it is!

    Neat trick - thanks! But how do you make intersecting chamfers? Such as on all sides of one face of a block? I can't figure out how to make the planes of each chamfer intersect - Thanks

    still doesnt explain how one can just fillet all edges of an existing geometry, why is skechup so unbelievably limited... i cant believe people still use it, just use rhino, it does what sketchup would never dream to do without installing two million extensions that barely work

      What i did was to build the shapes to the last example in the video, instead of taking away to chamfer build up, worked a charm:)

    What are the commands that you use? I'd really need this tip to make quick chamfers on projects.

    I keep getting the rounded edges cut off after I used the follow me tool. Anybody else have the same problem?

      Ass Möde its most likely because what you are doing is to small. scale it up then give it a go. Then scale it back down again.

    Hola a veces trabajando en sketchup me sale la medida 3,0cm pero en otros puntos sale ~3,0cm, lo cual me ocasiona constantes errores cuando voy hacer un acabado de un recorte de objetos. El objeto recortado muestra un exceso sobrante como resultado de esas medidas inexactas, que hago para que eso no suceda?

    Its not working like that. it looks like u click and it auto goes around it, not in my case. it wants me to guide it. maybe u missed some short cut to click with mosue click ?

    I should add that I was making one chamfer at a time - using line and pull face.

    How difficult way to chamfer and fillet. If i work with small and critical model how it would be hard i can imagine. I JUST DO IT JUST 3 CLICK IN 3DS MAX..

    ok great. now how do we get it to be a precise offset? I want 1/4" rounded edge. this doesn't seem to be useful for design. just for faking it to get it to look "close enough"
