    The more I see and hear Sara Davies, the more I like her. No bullying, no lessons, no arrogance, and an immediate solid contact with hopeful entrepreneurs in whose products she has confidence. I hope her track record backs up my confidence, but her people skills leave her fellow Dragons in the dust. I hope that this venture works out well for all concerned.

    The clawback for the Cassis pitch being outright rejected was ridiculous. The conditions are normally pretty onerous like "if I get all my money back within a year", but the offer Sarah made should have been very easy to meet. That would tell me she has no confidence in her ability to grow the business.

    • @twangbarfly
      @twangbarfly Місяць тому +19

      Yes, the way she clung to her accountant's advice rather than take a punt with people who could have boosted her business and were clearly interested, or at worst, made her life a lot more fun, is beyond me. I don't know what exactly she was expecting to be offered. A solid product and lots of money behind her, but a boring pedestrian approach. If I'd had the opportunity to go into business with this lady, I think it would have been an uphill struggle arguing with her and her "accountant" - sadly!
