This is the best thing ever that UA-cam algorithm recommended. It reminds me of my own roots and my own temperament. I'm not from the Indigenous Peoples, or even Celtic/Irish, but I'm a descendant of a peoples just as old, and just as fierce, who boosted many warriors queens and savage daughters through the millenia. I'm amazigh and this song makes me proud to be. Our people's voices were lowered because of Islam just like their Celtic and indigenous peoples were lowered by Christianity, but this song makes me feel that we don't have to comply with their ideals, we have our own, which are far older and ancient and better in some ways, and celebrating women was one of those ancient ideals that should be brought back. My people are matriarchal and the women are the fiercest you'll ever meet, proud lionesses who will fight tooth and nail and run barefoot on thorns and that's something that I find beautiful.

When I first listen this song I felt so moved. I saw myself surrounded by nature and made me think about my mother's lineage and felt linked with every woman. There is a powerful call in this song.

@@VisualHugs it's actually not, if you go back and forth between this one and Sarah's cover you can hear the difference in voices, I actually tried it lol and they sound so similar but wyndreths voice is raspier slightly, this version is from one of her performances though so that's why it doesn't sound the same as when she just performed for a few people outside

no it isnt lol Shes an Elderly woman. Her version is less "beautiful" but has actual soul. Grit, and POWER. I highly recommend looking for it. The thumbnail is her standing outside, the sound quality isnt squeaky clean but now listening to this one, it sounds so soulness in comparison.
