Cinematic shots from the Lumix GH5 with FilmConvert, an awesome plugin that I frequently use to achieve that 35mm film look. Film stock used here is the Fuji Vibrant 8543 with 35mm grain. I colour grade the footage using a custom LUT that I developed and then add FilmConvert to finish off the look. It was my birthday yesterday and as most of normal public life remains closed, we headed out for a day out on our bikes. Lovely! Perfect opportunity to take the GH5 out, so thought I'd use a few shots that I grabbed along the way. The GH5 sure does produce beautiful images.

I’ll be glad in buying the LUTS
Coming very soon my friend!
Какие настройки профиля Cine-D ты использовал друг?
I like the color grade!
Cheers bro !
Looking good. You filmed this in 1080p 200mbit? :)
Thanks. Yes I think so if I remember correctly!
Would definitely be interested in purchasing this LUT. Any chance of a video with a 'how you colour grade' as I love the look of your work.
Thanks! I'll see if I can make it available shortly! Yes that's also very much on the cards. Something I've been meaning to do for months. Silver lining of the pandemic may well be that I now have time to do all these things I had planned for UA-cam :)
@@RoweFilms can't wait! 👍🏻
I really love your work, my friend! nice video again. I enjoyed every second of it.
Thanks bro :)
I'm watching and thinking..."damn this guy is good with the GH5"... then I realized who I was watching lol. And then thought "of course this is Rowe Films". Loved your S1H piece! Is this the same LUT?
Ah lol bless you man thank you!! No this is a new one, warmer and a little more subtle. Fiddled with the colours a bit to work with FilmConvert :)
@@RoweFilms If you ever make it into a paid LUT, I'd love to try it out! Did you end up buying the S1H?
@@heroaomedia maybe a few coming soon man! No, I didn't in the end. Rumour has it a GH6 might be on the way ;-)
What do u rekoemnd for nature vidoegraphy. Gh5 Lumix or Fujifilm xt4?
Video - GH5.
Stills & some video - X-T4
What do you recommend for the grain settings when using the 35 mm stock?
Haven’t used Filmconvert for some time now. I recommend you check out Dehancer Pro instead. Much more powerful tool in my opinion!
Hey Rowe, one of the many things I still don't understand is colour grading, do you colour grad each clip individually?
Hi! I apply one of my custom LUT's (and FilmConvert here) universally and then tweak the colours and tones of each clip individually using wheels and curves
Cheers
Nice grade! Emotional but not over the top.
Thank you sir :)
the GH5 does not film in 60Fps 4.2.2 10 bit
But rather in 8 bits ?
This was HD, not 4K
@@RoweFilms Ok excuse me 🙏
very good projet
He has an external monitor, this átomos NINJA that allows him to rec in 60 10bit
If u have a footage from a gh5 and u color grade it from imouvie will it be a little bit ok?
Not sure mate, never used iMovie so not sure what the functionality is like
@@RoweFilms oh ok, thx for the reply tho
@@ivavon7122 Just had a really quick look. The functions look basic. Of course you can get a decent enough looking image straight out of the camera, but wouldn't expect to be doing much in the way of stylistic editing or colour grading using iMovie.
Sorry, what should that be ?
S. Weck come again?
Sorry, why do you think it has film look? It has dslr digital sharp look.
UA-cam's horrid compression just makes the film grain emulation look like compression noise.
