I don't get the negativity towards paying for crochet patterns. They only cost about the price of a ball of yarn and usually have the labor of multiple people to ensure that everything is correct and charted out. It's a lot of work that saves crocheters so much trouble, I don't think it's a bad thing to include paid patterns on a list like this.
the only time i disagree with paid patterns are the ones that only come in one size and they are like 20 dollars for no reason. i found a shorts pattern on etsy for 15 dollars that only shows you how to make the granny squares the pants are made of and not how to connect them into shorts

Honestly it depends a lot. I've seen patterns that were well worth being bought, but occasionally there is also rotten eggs of either patterns that look like they've been put into a translator 10 years prior or cost at least double the average yet explain only half the project. I think it essentially also boils down to a saturation of only so many different things being able to be done with relatively basic stitches, if it's more complicated and detailed ones I doubt anyone (who is not a stereotypical Karen) minds paying.
@@viktoriaschmied6627 I agrée, checking the reviews is the most important thing to avoid the bad eggs.
Absolutely, I am more than happy to pay for a good pattern. Somebody has put in a lot of work into creating it. I'm bad at imagining things in 3D. Following instructions is easier and teaches me to crochet better.
What a cool lil list from a cool lil crocheter
☺
Thanks so much for the pattern collection. I am always grateful to find something that is work appropriate, otherwise it's difficult to actually get to wear our makes ;)
Nice 👍 good choices!
Hi , what very nice suggestions!!! Thank you! Love from Lisbon 🥰
thank you!
This is such a good list! I love crochet but always felt like they were too casual for work so this is perfect
if you wanna knit like projects search for tunisian crochet. is just amazing, looks like knit but is easier to learn. Is like crochet and knit had a baby together
this is such a genius idea for a video!
Thank you for the list! I can't wait to try some of these! :)
Thank you for the well made list :) I appreciate it
Thank you!!
Such a good list! So surprised when I saw you are a small UA-camr, you should have 1m subscribers
That's so sweet! Thank you!
I’m working on Berry-dipped raglan sweater by Little golden nook. It has interesting sleeve details and would definetely be work appropriate.
I'll check out that pattern!
Love from India❤❤.
This was a good video. If I can figure out how to calculate how much yarn i need, I will try one of these haha. Good quality yarn is expensive in India T_T
For those who like the granny pop cardigan, "MJ's off the hook designs" also has a youtube channel where you can watch video's of some of the patterns for free. I made a v-stitch-pullover by her from one of her video's. ps: sorry for any bad grammer/spelling, not my first language
Just in case anyone didnt know hayhay crochet is antimabortion and spread misinformation about roe v wade last year
If the AC is making your workplace too cold please tell your boss. Their company can save so much money by saving energy for the AC. Plus the planet will thank you for saving carbon dioxide. So we all profit from that.
I know right! Unfortunately I work in a hospital so they are always very cold in America.
@@zabrinaarts6740 But why? Don't the patients get cold?
@@henriettelinkshanderin1449 they have their own units to control the temp!
@@zabrinaarts6740 But people who work there don't?
@@henriettelinkshanderin1449 that's correct 😩
Constantly playing with your hair distracts from the beautiful patterns you collected for us. Your selections were all very nice.
What’s with your messing with your hair
Not all of us work at the office you know...
I wouldn't support HayHayCrochet due to her spreading misinformation regarding women's healthcare.
