    This is brilliant...and so so important for all involved-the person living their lives with the disease, their loved ones, and their friends.

      @@zeckraichannel1521 it’s on UA-cam…it’s a video from 1977. It’s not very coherent but you get the general idea of what his voice sounds like.

    I lost my grandfather to a combo of alzheimers and ALS. ALS is hands down the worst, took him away in less then 2 years. Rest in peace Papa.

    My mum is 83 and had great difficulty speaking and swallowing much of anything. Food was getting trapped in her throat and blocking her air way was happening more often. she battled for each breath. The riluzole did very little to help her. The medical team did even less. Her decline was rapid and devastating. The psychological support from the medical centre was non-existent and if it were not for the sensitive care and attention of our primary physician, there she would have died. There has been little if any progress in finding a cure or reliable treatment. Acupuncture eased her anxiety a bit. this year our primary physician started her on Healthherbsclinic MND natural treatment, 6 months into treatment she improved dramatically. It has been a complete turnaround with her speech, she no longer needs the feeding tube to feed, the treatment is a miracle. She recovered significantly!

    With deep faking now being available, can’t modern computing programs fully unlock their voice to the entirety of the English catalog?

      The guy who worked with David Lee Roth? I'm surprised he lived 30+ years with ALS.

    Why wouldn't these technologies exist in Dr Hawking days?.....

    • @stephaniethetvshowgirl1072
      @stephaniethetvshowgirl1072 2 роки тому +1

      Because it was the 60s when Stephen Hawking started having the condition and it was the 1980s when he lost his ability to speak and technology like this wasn’t a thing yet since it was a whole different time period
