I've heard of the cisterns before, but I had no idea just how many and how widespread they are. Great video, new sub earned! 😃 Edit: also was a great idea to outline the cisterns in brick, not only for the firefighters to identify it, but also road construction. Plans and blueprints get lost over time and having critical emergency infrastructure like this being clearly identifiable 150 years later is well thought out.

Hard to imagine such a devastating event, wow, 3/4 of any city homeless is monstrously difficult, and then the fire too, horrendous.
