      ***** That's cool if that's your experience.You're fortunate. However my experience and the vast majority of other's (in particular in the northeast of the U.S.) find super jacked dudes to either be aloof and/or somewhat stupid..

      +Bodyknowledge 77 Something tells me that's the vast majority of your experience. People are dumb asses the world over. Muscles or not.

      Physical and mental ability are correlated, not anti-correlated, since they both result from some of the same positive environmental and genetic factors like good nutrition, low genetic mutational load, affluence, etc.

    Whoa! There's a wealth of knowledge in that room with these 2 in it! I have watched all of their videos and am always impressed at what they know. Thank you, Sirs, for all that you've done and taught us who took this path. You never cease to amaze me.

    I'd add that we should be reasonable about our potential. Guys have walked away from a "normal" work & family life to be the next Stan, and although they did everything right, and put on enough muscle to turn heads wherever they go, they don't have the structure to make a living at it.

    "What works for you". Something I've always believed and followed. Something I first heard from Bruce Lee teachings. Most of us will never turn pro (e.g. PL, WL or bodybuilding). Some of us will never bench 600-lbs or DL 500-lbs. Some of us are just genetically not built to handle that much weight. No matter how hard we train. Who we're trained by. Have the right diet. Right exercises. Etc. For most of us it is just about fitness. To get into "better shape"...is this true? Or, can ANYONE eventually DL 500-lbs? Bench 2-3x their BW?
    Not too many Richard Hawthorne's (130l-lbs...DL over 4x his BW, Stephi cohen 120-lbs PL over 4.5x her body weight).
    Nice to see there are top level lifters with college educations. Having book smarts. A few with a corporate job in the past. VS. listening to some male bimbo meathead.

    • @andrewcady9443
      @andrewcady9443 6 років тому +1

      Surely the average man can DL 500lbs with sufficient training...

    Stan is very articulate. But I have to say there has to be a way to incorporate beer and whiskey into the diet!

    • @bbrockRailFan
      @bbrockRailFan 6 років тому

      He is very articulate but for some odd reason it appears he hasnt figured out how to make his lower quads large and massive. For all the weight he squats its not working his legs look thin, Something is not working. I cant see taking training advise from this guy maybe upper body.

    • @brandon18054
      @brandon18054 6 років тому

      You're clearly ignorant. Stan's genetics dictate the way he puts on muscle, not the way he trains. And that goes for anyone. Genetics reign supreme. If someone really had to explain that to you then nobody should be taking ADVICE from you.

    @Chris Duffin, I've been using your glute warm up before my squats and deadlifts. I've noticed they've helped a lot. How can I activate a specific glute. My left one doesn't seem to want to fire.

    I am so extremely annoyed with all these people finally figuring out that "mobility" work is necessary outside of the gym. Did you REALLY think you were going to get away with just pushing and pushing huge amount of weight? Training does require cognitive skills.

    I can't eat that much without getting fat. But I do wish I could eat that much and still only gain muscle.

    • @benbray4982
      @benbray4982 8 років тому

      small dose of test is one option. another option is reduce carbs and fat while keeping protein high and work harder. decrease rest, slightly drop weight. active rest days. add walking or cardio. never decrease cals try and burn more.

    • @oswaldofigueroa529
      @oswaldofigueroa529 6 років тому

      Ben Bray wrong, it is much better to do fasted cardio, only take out carbs once a day preferably on the last meal before bed to avoid losing muscle, if you want to burn more fat just do more sets of 8-12 reps with medium heavy weight. Test will bulk you up, but if combined with anavar or another cutter then it will work, circuit training is my personal favorite because it’s a combination of weights with cardio and it teaches your body to be able to move faster without jeopardizing your muscle.

    Stan resembles Rich Piana, not hating. He does not remind me of Rich in any other way.

    • @kristiankarrman6974
      @kristiankarrman6974 8 років тому +3

      Could you see a classy dude like Stan slapping someone, let alone someone somewhat challenged? What you say and how you act are totally different. The slapping incident showed that. To be the nice guy, not hating, creates a following, a following is good for business. Piana has capitalised on that.
      Stan is a class act, intelligent, humble, and honest.
      Piana is not a class act. He is one of these guys that tells the truth in some areas, like steroid stuff, good for business, but not in areas that are not good for business. He is the face of the Facebook and instagram generation, in my opinion.
