I believe you to be a sort of sister to me. :) I'm going with your idea. 800sq feet that already has the theatre, amps, bar with no cooking. A room with no stupid ideas!!!!!
This is definitely one of my favorite tours you have ever done. Her studio is awesome! I love the clean lines and bright colors. The editing is sick as well (that into is incredible).
I love what she said about squeezing every last drop out of her space and her gear. That's the way to go for sure and she's done a fab job setting it all up. Kudos!
I've had the exact same exprience ragarding you chanel!! i usually never leave any comments but just wanted to show send love from Portugal! keep doing your thing
Great video, as always! Love the studio and the artist. FYI, the podcast link in the description didn't work for me, but I found it on her artist page that you had linked, above. Looking forward to listening in!
I'm building my first project studio in the basement for primarily songwriting right now. This is giving me so many ideas to help improve the vibe and effectiveness of my setup. Amazing content, as always!
Emily love what you did to the place. Would like to see another video in a couple years to see how the place evolves .. Great song building environment
Totally feel you about WA bands and exposure, we had the same issue in the 80's 90's in Adelaide, when the powers that be value international acts over local talent its very hard to build momentum.
I loved this one! I'm such a fan of cozy, vibey setups like this. If you ever find yourself in the Northeast, I've got a ton of friends with amazing studios that I'd love to introduce you to!
muito legal o estúdio. sugestão: coloca na descrição dos vídeos um link para acessar, uma sugestão do proprietário música que saiu do estúdio. só para apreciar mesmo!!
The best part is- none of us *neeeed* the boujee treatment, or shmancy outboard gear, or guitars up the wazoo. Making what you can and getting creative with what you have is truly so freeing. Having too many excess choices doesn’t always mean a stronger outcome. Transcendent records can come out of anywhere!
Love that BAE. I have the same one and It's so good I'm gonna get another Dual Channel 1073MP since the power supply can power up to 4 of em. Really cool studio and dig the sync license thing she's doing, got me checking into it....she's obviously a very motivated artist
The BAE is rad. I didn’t say this in the tour but if I could do it over again I would re-allocate going “all out” on acoustic treatment and dampening - and use that money for more analog pres. Acquiring slowly :)
@earthtolowen thats a very legit way to get a studio started. I'm getting all my preamps in order before I move on to compression and eq. Tracking, getting it right at the source, makes it so much easier and means everything. And you do alot digitally with amp sims, those BAE DI's for guitar and bass are wonderful
@earthtolowen I wanted to mention to you that if you're using that BAE on your kick, Try putting a cloudliifter on your snare. It'll get you a similar gain level and noise ratio affordably. It's what I do on my kit for now.
Because this is the first woman to be featured in this series? A perfectly functional studio with some great gear, but of course it’s not as good as all the other studios Andrew has visited - wonder why?
@@earthtolowen the fact that you produce amazing music without sinking a fortune into rack gear and consoles really drives these guys insane. happy to see someone like you on this channel.
@@lmp832 or maybe just maybe, I have a studio that has a more high end comfortable surrounding that is better than a “perfectly functional studio with some great gear” maybe you were the one that was being a sexists… instead of thinking what the standard studio is for the video he does? Thank you, Andrew! Full circle. This was so fun. You’re the man.
Your studio is beautiful! Thanks for letting us see it! All the best. Keep crushing 🤙

This is much more like the kind of “home Studio” tour I like to see. It’s far more relatable for the small time musician…I.e, me 😂

super cozyI dream of building some kind of a Zula for myself one day =) Super inspiring philosophy on gear🔥🔥🔥
IDK if it's my ear or the music in the background but I hear asmr, cottonmouth like amother.. I might be trippin. Good mic quality.
She reminds me a bit of Louise Goffin. That is an amazing space.
Oh god who is that. *googles

Any idea where that orange shag rug under the drums came from?
