I remember I was shopping in Staten Island Mall in New York City when I first heard this song. I don’t know why it made such an impact on me. At least not then. Now at 51 I’m still wondering if someone is out there looking for me
I remembered being in my young teens and this song came out. The first time I heard it on radio, I fell in love with this song. So many years passed by and it is still my very best song of the 90's. Time really flies
Hace mucho q no oía esta cancio( mejor dicho disfrutaba) Serán 15 o 20 ,la había olvidado x completo ,m transporto a una época bella ,bellísima canción saludos linda x esta bella 💕 canción!!!
*2020* and Heartbeats are still Accelerating! I always wondered if the clock theme of this video inspired Enya's video for "Anywhere Is" released two years later... Still an enchanting melody! Thanks for posting! 🕰️💓
I really love this song. My other favorites w/Linda ronstadt are, "Somewhere Out There", "Dreams To Dream", "Winter Light" and "Different Drum". I am so much in love with her singing.
Love this song haven't thought of it in a long time. It's recently been making a wide orbit getting closer in the Muzak B track of my mind. This is a beautiful video and song. Linda's voice is so beautiful. I wish I had a voice like that. That voice could pull in the biggest ships in from sea.💚
Such a shame Linda can't sing anymore due to Parkinson's. She had quite a voice, especially when she sang with the likes of James Ingram, Paul Simon and Aaron Neville, among others.
Anaïs Ranger admit she's better don't you think, lindas not the only person or group to copy others song or music it's just they can do it a bit better ,
This is why there shouldn't be music videos. The step-by-step literalness ruins one of the most eerily evocative songs I have ever heard. And the parrot is just so wrong.
Sadly...she no longer can perform, due to health issues. This is a incredible underrated masterpiece, by sweet Linda. A beautiful ballad. ❤😅
the chorus just blows me away such a strong beautiful voice

God bless her. Her voice is pure magic 😇
It’s God’s gift to Linda Ronstadt and the world

great song...but it was not super commercial for Linda. The whole album was great but didn’t sell as expected. Ehhh
Just found this song after 25 years
One of my all time favourites. Love the background music.
This song is so comforting, I love this song so much❤❤

Blue Bayou is another great song from Linda Ronstadt
and Blue Bayou, When Something Is Wrong With My Baby & All My Life
Love this song haven't thought of it in a long time. It's recently been making a wide orbit getting closer in the Muzak B track of my mind.
This is a beautiful video and song.
Linda's voice is so beautiful.

So freaking beautiful 😭😭😭😭😭
Anyone listening in 2020?, cause I sure am!
2021!
2089 😎
Fantastic cover of the song by Kate and Anna McGarrigle, written by Anna. Their original is great, too.
Is there a version of this video available in its original 4:3 aspect ratio somewhere?
When love is new this is the song.
Love, I’m waiting!
1993s one of the best songs used to play on the radio like Christmas chime bells
This song triggered a horrible repressed memory for me but it's so beautiful still love it ❤
This song feels so "Christmas-y" to me. Especially the way it starts out. This and UB-40's, "Kingston Town", (live)
I love this song.
2018 and still loving this song
And me the same in 2019. AW YEAH !!!
#classic #2024
Love love love, thank you!
Who’s still listening to this now in 2019?
Make that 2020.
Me!
It’s on my iPhone music list
i have never seen this video, i noticed the girl sure does favor her cousin Mindy Ronstadt,if anyone has info. i would be interested to know for sure.
PAMELA Johnson . She’s actually her niece, Mindy Ronstadt, according to Rolling Stone Magazine.
Her niece is drop dead gorgeous! Probably mestiza/mixed race. Any info about her?
Wow, Linda is at her peak here, and her fall, but still manages to deliver
Such a shame Linda can't sing anymore due to Parkinson's. She had quite a voice, especially when she sang with the likes of James Ingram, Paul Simon and Aaron Neville, among others.
oh yes

Retuning to her roots
What a Gorgeous Young Woman she was in this Video!
Linda the women .
Ya know something.....the young hot girl in this video, is probably a Grandmother by now !!
Tough to believe this was THAT long ago, 30 years
10 people are no hearts
Linda Ronstadt can never do any wrong in my book. Best female vocalist of all time for me...but I could definitely pass on this one.
*PD K* Why is that, exactly, (you could pass on it)?
Hi @@ToyotaGuy1971 - Actually revisiting it because of you... it's good. Just not my taste.
@@pdk213 Fair enough. Cheers!
came here just for the parrot comments, the good... and the bad.
Who’s the woman in the video?
That is Linda Ronstadt. One of the most versatile singers ever.
gmdlnp3 I mean the young woman. Sorry for being unclear.
@@samm761
Is it Mindy Ronstadt, her niece?
@@conradquilliam6076 is that her name? She is wonderful

LUCKILY OF THE IRISH GERALD

She stole Enya's 'Only Time' background 1:28

Jan Love Makatea Well, personally, I prefer the Kate & Anna McGarrigle version.
This song is from 1993. "Only Time" is a newer Enya song from the 2,000's. Are you thinking of another song?
Sorry, I meant that sarcastically, not literally.
Because they are very similar.
Too bad the audio is out of sync

Love this track but this video is awful 😬 ❤🎧🎤 #lindaronstadt
Yeah....I want to hear and see Linda perform the video.
This is why there shouldn't be music videos. The step-by-step literalness ruins one of the most eerily evocative songs I have ever heard. And the parrot is just so wrong.
There was one with just the clock gauges once all throughout non-living. I think. And also a performance on Letterman.
David Pratt agreed 25 years later I'm still what is with the dam parrot.
Beautiful song; video doesn't do it justice. A shame that Linda only has two cameos from start to finish.
& such a bad hairstylist.
I hate parrots but this one definitely stole the video!
