- What a southern charm Duke Mansion has located and hidden amongst a neighborhood in Charlotte North Carolina. The house is almost as beautiful as the garden. This house and gardens is tucked away in Myers Park. The Duke Mansion definitely has some southern charm. Yes, you can stay at this lovely bed and breakfast. The hotel is a nonprofit, and is operated by the Duke Foundation. All the proceeds support the preservation of the home and gardens. I hope you enjoy the presentation and tours if the gardens.
