hahaha..That's how I started serious cycling. was riding on a trail one day and a cyclist past me while I thought I was going fast. I got on is wheel and lasted about 10 minutes before droppage ...right then and there I knew wanted to get faster and start racing! LOL

06:37 I'm riding the West Side Highway trail in New York City and I'm beat after riding to Brooklyn from Westchester County. This girl blows by me like I was standing still and peeled the paint off my bike and my ego said, "Are you going to let a chick do that to you?" I jumped on her wheel and spent 7 miles trying to catch up to her and when I finally did, I was panting like a dog chasing a tumbleweed in the Arizona desert.
She was completely oblivious to me as I rolled passed her. And who was she? Some triathlete goddess who was ripped from head to toe. When I got out of her line of sight, I pulled over and laid down on the grass with cramps in locations that I didn't even know I could get cramped. I had to sit there for a good hour to recover before I could limp home. She (without knowing) taught me a good lesson; Don't be an arrogant jerk.

@@jonmaloneycycling7593 yeah I’m only fifteen but my whole family is pretty serious about cycling and I do work occasionally for bikes and stuff right now my favorite bike is my trek madone sl 7 e tap my father has a madone and tarmac they are both like 2012 but those are his favorites thanks I look up to you you make amazing videos

There’s a lot of people hurting financially at the moment, so why not give the bike away to some local kid who’s family can’t afford to buy him/her one? One of the local churches will know which families are in need.

How the hell do you get to 5W/kg FTP?? That is absolutely insane. Would you happen to know if the Garmin estimated FTP is good enough, or should I do an actual FTP test for 20 min? I've never done one before 😬

Funny, I've never had anyone half-wheel me and I've never done it to anyone else. But I have had people look back and accelerate after seeing me coming up behind them. Ever since I learned to commit to zone 2 on zone 2 rides, I don't chase. ...Not gonna say I'm not tempted, though. :)
