- This Rogue would randomly go into limp mode and set fault codes in the ECM for P0500, P1574 and P1715. This is the second time I'm looking at this as the first time after repairing a ignition power fuse to the transmission control module it lasted a couple weeks and went 400klm. I hate chasing ghosts...
Part 1 is here: • 2015 Nissan Rogue Tra... - Авто та транспорт
Damn Nissans should come with an extra CVT at purchase. 😂
Nice
I've seen where just cleaning the combination meter connector fixes the problem.
May I ask a question ? In your video about the TCM did you say there was a fuse when the P0890 code comes up ? I have a 2016 Rogue and I can’t find that fuse or relay can you help me out please ? Thank you in advance ( frustrated southern guy trying to fix this in the heat ) LOL
ua-cam.com/video/c9bz_2mwa2Q/v-deo.html at 19:15 I show the location of the fuse for the transmission. This carvwas smashed and the fuse box was damaged allowing moisture into the fuses. It under the left headlight. Not very convenient at all. In the end I ended up replacing the fuse bow plastic components and transferring all electrical terminals to another used box. I also removed the ground on the left side of the transmission and top of the cylinder head and cleaned them.
Mr. Bailey , I wanted to thank you for your video and most definitely for your response. I had to do exactly what you did after two mechanics telling me I needed a new tranny, which wasn’t the issue at all. I followed your steps and problem solved . Thank you so much !! Tony from Savannah Georgia
@@tonyhays9809 glad it helped you. Hope it stays fixed.
I’ve put another 50thousand miles on it and still running great !! I was looking through your videos for some additional help lol but on another Nissan Rogue 2014 the AC isn’t blowing ( it’s a customers ) compressor runs and the low pressure side Freon line is ice cold , but no air coming in ?? I heard it could be the temperature sensor ( down by the gas pedal behind plastic cover ) changed it and it did start blowing cold and the heat started working, but turned vehicle off and went to start 10,mins later and no air again !! Could the blower motor also be bad or have a short ? Any help is appreciated! My opinion you are the best when it comes to these Nissan plastic overpriced cars, LOL . Thank you advance Mr. Bailey
I have a Nissan Sentra 2016 i limp mide P0500 , 1715 , 1734 . Does limp mode goes as at You clean the the grounds ?

Try doing a network code clear to reset everything. Did the battery go flat due to the alternator pulley?
@@PhillipBailey thanks for answer . I found that there is vss signal ir I move the CVT module connector. I and working un the vehicle right now
exelente
Wow so many codes. Better bring back the car as lemon 🍋 I want to buy an old VW beetle with NO computer!!!
I have a 2017 Nissan Rogue, bought it a month ago at 127 000 Km. Now it’s going into limp mode all of a sudden, rpm goes wild and can’t accelerate beyond 40, sometimes 80 which makes the car sound really loud.
What codes is it setting?
Update!???
Just worked on the same car yesterday for a evap vent solenoid problem. The transmission has been fine since this video. Unfortunately I will never know what actually fixed it. Grounds?
Hi Phil. A friend of mine had a Rogue or similar car story. Similar issues. The problem ended up being a cracked taillight housing. The water would contact the module or the light socket in the taillight and feed the brake sense for the BCM which was unconventionally referenced by the brake light circuit and not from an adjacent and independent switch for the BCM input.
That's good to know. Have not heard back from this customer so that may mean good things...
I have a 2012 nissan rogue i doesn't acceleration and the worst part is that there is no code.
What does it do? No throttle response? Will it Rev up in park? Are you scanning just the engine or transmission computer as well?
