aadil sidat I'm ok with multiplayer trophies as long as it doesn't require u to play for a stupid amount of time. Trophies that are basically just there for u to try out the multiplayer for a couple matches are fine.
I agree with BF1 those ones get you to play out of your comfort zone and experience the whole multi-player without overly forcing one mode or something like that on you like many games do.
I got the Platinum for Star Ocean: The Last Hope and Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness. I may be dead inside after them, but at least I have shiny virtual trophies.
i have 90% Battle Trophies on SO4. Everything else also, but 100% Battle Trophy? For gods sake.... i was already on ~400h across 3 different playthrough saves. Still not obtained the 2 30.000 kills and quick ethereal queen with lymle, most 255 special drop ... sooooo still around 200h away from platinum. I lost hope (ironically) ~4years ago.
Kingoftheuniverse 800 I have the bloodborn platinum too, the worst trophy was doing the final chalice dungeons, that one that halves your health the entire time was bullshit
1 of the biggest things that annoys me about games that have an online multiplayer is that if you want that platinum trophy, you NEED to have ABSOLUTELY nothing even remotely resembling a life.

Exactly the issue with Tomb Raider 2013. Max level in online multiplayer? Nope, there are only about 5 people online at a time, and it’s hard enough to match with anyone. Other than that, I have the platinum...
Using his math (that each game is ten minutes and you need 10,000 kills for the trophy in resistance 2), I calculated that his average kills for each game is 3.997. This will make the time to complete the trophy 417 hours, which matches what you said. Haha, great kills per game ratio :D

Having grown up with games like Turok on the N64, I actually used to play Inverted Southpaw. Over the years, games without this option slowly forced me to adapt to normal controls.
Me and my friend Matt actually got the Platinum in Star ocean. It took us 6 months of Weekends, breaks off of school and most of summer for us to do it. But we got the Platinum and it wasn't worth the time
Tomas Hernandez I feel like this is going to be me and my friend Andy when FFXII: The Zodiac Age releases. We've pledged to each other that we'll both play the game through to Platinum status. It'll take a while and a bit of skill.
Depending on your knowledge of the game, most of the trophies can be obtained just by playing the game and doing all the optional stuff (which is really not that hard). The only two trophies which might be hard are getting every Concurrence (so spamming quickenings in the correct order for hours trying to get Black Hole to pop out) and clear trial mode 100, which is going to take a LOT of preparation. All in all, maybe 70-100 hours for some people. Not long at all.

RIght? You that would be my first platinum if not for Dust: An Elysian Tail. When I look at the trophy list for Game of Thrones I couldn't believe it. Rocket League is also a very easy one.
Jaqen H'Ghar Yeah, it's almost unfair how easy it is to get Telltale's platinums. Aside from the Witcher 3 (and maybe soon Skyrim: Special Edition), all of my platinums are from Telltale games.
My first platinum was Dead Space, and I managed to get it because I unintentionally exploited a bug in the hardest difficulty that gave me the stormtrooper (best) armor in the game as soon as I started the run. Happiest miscalculation ever.
Most time consuming platinum that I have played but haven't gotten is Neverwinter. That damn kill 1000 dragons trophy. I got to 50 dragon kills, that took about 5 hours. That means at minimum I will be killing dragons for 100 hours if I do well. I'm not doing that.
Do the makers of Star Ocean: The Last Hope assume I don't have a job, am super loaded and don't need to work a day in my life to actually achieve the Platinum with that insane amount of playing hours?
Watchdogs required some online stuff (races if I remember correctly). While I obviously had internet access, it wasn't the best so I'm missing like 3. Awesome job
@@Freeproceeds I know. That's probably why I gave up on it. The city is so big and there's so much to do. I just platinumed Lego The Force Awakens instead a few days ago. :)
Final Fantasy XIII was the first game I ever earned the platinum trophy for. It took me a clean 177 hours to accomplish the feat and it was mainly BECAUSE of the Treasure Hunter trophy. I also want to put more perspective into what a grind earning the White Knight Chronicles platinum really is. When the online multiplayer servers were up it took roughly 500 hours to platinum the game. Now you can still platinum the game although the servers are shut down, but I've heard it now takes about 1,000 hours. Fun times.
LOL I have the platinum for Star Ocean 4 and it was a bittersweet 700 hours (PSN: Hasan_ESQ). Raise that dualshock Rob. To be fair, Wipeout HD will always be the undisputed king of near-impossible platinums.
Hasan Kavakci I got two friends on my list that got the wipeout hd trophy xD I was bragging about platting bo3 gta v bloodborne etc etc and they mentioned the wipeout hd trophy list and I was like 😱
Hasan, massive props and I'm happy to see someone else who enjoyed that game. Me...nope. Not happening with that plat though. Rob, thanks for the video. 100% agreement.
I ended up giving up on Final Fantasy XIII's 'Treasure Hunter' trophy for a different reason- I actually hadn't sold any equipment so I could still get it, but the process of getting it involves weeks upon weeks of grinding adamantoises to get the gil necessary to buy all of the weapons you can only get from the shop, and then upgrading them all several times. They take forever to kill, you have to kill hundreds of them, and they don't even have a 100% drop rate on the ore you need to sell. Oh and they basically one shot your party if you don't play perfectly through the entire fight. To this day it remains the only trophy I don't have in that game.
PlayStation Access who would of thought you guys played white knight chronicles I plan on hopping back on my ps3 to "try" and get that achievement now Any favorites moments if you mind .
When I did The Evil Within 2, I ended up playing through the game FOUR or FIVE times. I was ready to throw my disc out of a plane by the time I was done.
@@Pythius13 I'll be honest, playing through TEW2 4 or 5 times was super fun. I could almost speedrun it if I just did a couple more playthroughs tbh, and getting the platinum was really satisfying. Just finishing classic mode was a massive pain, tbh.
@@irreverentizzy5426 I definitely enjoyed my time getting the platinum, I just have no reason to ever come back to it. I still really enjoyed it, but survival games aren't my forté anyways, so playing through so many times got a bit redundant. Overall, I still highly recommend it though
@@Pythius13 Very understandable! I'd definitely recommend playing it once or twice, and just enjoying the game for what it is. Because it is a damn fine game! The platinum did get a bit redundant later though. I think my last playthrough was just fully upgrading every weapon in the NG+ file of my classic game, which was a pain.
You're not kidding. I made a comment about the grind for Pure Bladestone on an Access video and I got a mention on 'Squad Goals'! My five seconds of fame. :)
1:25 White Knight Chronicles 3:04 Warhawk 4:38 Final Fantasy XIII 5:42 ModNation Racers 7:13 Resistance 2 8:28 WipEout HD 10:14 Star Ocean: The Last Hope
bloody hell that's pretty fast!! I did the battle trophies on galaxy I figured that if I did them on universe or even Earth mode none of the set up guides for battle trophies would work as the defenses of enemies would be different so I'd do more or less damage than on galaxy mode so Universe and Chaos modes were speed runs for me just to get the trophies at the end, did most of Faizes battle trophies on Earth mode.
Yeah same here, even if they're really good games. Just in the last year I've left Witcher 3, Fallout 4, World of Final Fantasy, Star Ocean 5 and Final Fantasy XV unfinished among dozens of others. I used to love games that are huge timesinks but nowadays after a couple dozen hours I'll usually find something else to play instead.
HicksZ34 you can always also look up trophy guides for the game you want to platinum/or 100% on google, they are very helpful(and guides/walkthroughs on youtube can also be helpful),hope this comment helped you.
Rainbow Six Siege. The platinum is just pure pain. I don't how I survived the grinding and was able to get it. And that breaching charge kill trophy. Just pain.
So do I I have all trophies apart from that one which requires 2000 kill in T H and an other one that in order to get it you have to play protect the hostage 200 times
EXACTLY. Flipping terrorist hunt. And it's annoying going from the 60fps in MP to 30fps in TH. And they're just so boring. But after all of the pain, I finally got the plat. Level 112 (Platinum rank). If anyone's interested to play together.
I got the platinum for FFXIII. Took forever bc that dang drop rate for rare items. I also sold off my unused weapons on my first playthrough. Luckily I gained most of my trophies on the first round so I could just focus on the Treasure Hunter one afterwards.
Well I dont know how you guys find the time, ever since I settled down with my gf and started work I have barely any free time for gaming. I'll just assume that you spend most of your free time gaming which is a bit sad, there's more to life than gaming and i'd be careful that your partners dont lose patience with you :)
Huh, I have 4 of these (WKC, FF13, Modnation racers and Resistance 2). Ah, I remember when I used to have time, and no responsibilities *sobs quietly to self*
My nemesis regarding the "too grindy to get platinum" is probably the Dark Souls 3. While I absolutely love this game, I can't bring myself to farm all those covenant items just to unlock the "Collect all magic/pyromancies/miracles" trophies...
For me, if a Platinum is hard that's fine, if it requires grinding that's okay to a point. It's when the grindings turns from days to weeks I draw the line. You may laugh but I'm happy with this, the Hardest Platinum I got was on Metal Gear Revengeance. Longest Platinum was Lightning Returns FF13. Took a me three weeks, lost game data so had to start again, and had to play it through three times.
I’ve got Uncharted 2, Infamous & Lego Jurassic World. I would also have Ghostbusters but couldn’t get the multiplayer trophies. Servers were still running but no-one else in there!
The Treasure Hunter trophy in FFXIII legit pissed me off. I started doing the necessary giant turtle kill grinding only to realize that I would need them to drop it's extremely rare drop item like 50 or so times, which would mean thousands of repititions of the same stupidly long mini-boss fight. I rage quit after a few hours.
I have a whopping ZERO Platinums! Are you proud of me? (for the record, I totally would have the Plat for LotR Conquest if the multiplayer servers weren't shut down years ago)
Rob, love the videos, but I think you're wasting videos reusing the same topics. And there are so many good, original topics, out there for you to use. Plus, long ago you promised us your personal top 10 favorite games and we still haven't gotten that. I love these videos and look forward to them every Friday even after more than 2 years, but sometimes it gets old seeing u still talking about the same old bosses and the same 10-15 games. I think some variety would really bring some more exposure to this amazing series
+Tim Wojcik What can I say, look at the numbers for videos on trophies and bosses. People love them, so I'll keep making them (and they're a different topic each time). Also 6 of the 7 games in this video have never been in a Friday Feature before. Thanks for watching! -Rob
Yo Rob, even though if my opinion is just one of many, I'd like to add to the matter that no matter which topic you come up with next, I would still watch and enjoy it. I mean if you do another trophy video then as a trophy hunter myself I would of course watch it but I anything else is also just fine. As long as you stay true to your style anything is fine with me. Perhaps many others here think the same. Anyways keep up the good work.
Tales of Symphonia's platinum trophy requires you to beat the game at least 5 times and obtain all titles for all characters (that's like 300 hours right there), among other things. I got it in just a few weeks.
Webberjo I just got the plat for Ni No Kuni and was thinking of starting ToS next. How difficult was the plat? did it require lots of crazy requirements or just grinding?
Having basically done the equivalent of Symphonia's Plat on the Gamecube version (minus the few extras) I can say that once you have speedrunning it down, you can beat it once a day if you mash through cutscenes, etc. Signed: Someone who had 4 EX Gem MAX on all 9 characters, and you only get 1-2 EX Gem MAX per playthrough.
Basically you need ALL titles for the platinum, which requires at least 5 playthroughs, fighting ALL enemies, opening ALL chests, getting ALL enemies and leveling up ALL characters to LV100 (including Kratos)
They need to stop adding Multiplayer trophies to the main game trophy list just add them as an addon trophy list or something, and for games where servers are down they need move Multiplayer trophies to an addon trophy list and add something that can still be earned!
I can agree about Modnation Racers. Wasn't too far from it on my old account, but the Hot Lap trophy and the XP grind for the XP a related trophies were just ridiculous.
DevineAaron my best platinum i've ever got is "The Elder Scrolls V:Skyrim"(ps3) that game took forever because i got sooooo engaged with it(but took only 1 month XD).
Congrats! MGS4 is a grindy bugger, and one I thought would get a mention here! Maybe it's one of the 2 that Rob has :0 My best platinum would be Rayman Legends, just because you had to do those daily challenges every day for a few months in order to get the platinum.
I hated it when trophies were added to MGS4 as I'd already done most of them but none of it counted. My favourite platinum is The Witcher 3, loved every minute it took to earn.
harry patey Its been at least two years. It doesn't look good by today's standards (it was only "okay" by PS2 standards) but I remember that the game having decent controls except when going really fast. It had some cool cheats and glitches and only a few annoying missions. I loved the game enough to complete it, I have the Krusty sticker to prove it.
Me when i see an amazing get announced *OMG i'm gonna get every thropy/achievement for this game and i'm never gonna stop playing! Game comes out, Finishes once, doesnt get every thropy and never looks back
GTA V needs to be on this. Talk about an exhausting platinum. It takes forever to 100% literally everything. Even after most of the online trophies just casually popping up, this platinum still took forever and I felt so done with it after I got it. I took it in parts focusing on something one at a time which still felt long. Trust me you do not want to go after this unless you have inhuman levels of patience.
Honorable mentions: Fortnite (Why: u need to buy retail or save the world with PS coins, AND for a few trophies. Defeat 20,000 mist monsters, build 500,000 structures, loot 300 treasure chests, save 10,000 survivors, destroy 100 garden gnomes, play 1000 play with others missions. And they need to be successful missions.) Metal Gear Solid 5 (why: for THREE trophies, you need to complete all missions, complete them all again with an S rank, then complete them all again with all tasks. Others are acquire all blueprints, key items, animals throughout Afghanistan and Africa, develop 300 development items, and be codenamed "hero" which requires 750,000 heroism.) Monster Hunter World (why: for some trophies, do the following: complete 50 arena quests, complete 50 investigations, complete 50 optional quests, obtain 5 highly powerful weapons and pieces of armor, obtain a giant crown and mini crown for almost all monsters, capture 50 monsters, obtain 100,000 research points, obtain 1,000,000 zenny, obtain 50 guild cards, reach Hunter Rank 100, capture highly rare creatures for 4 other achievements. Overwatch (Why: all of the trophies take place in online multiplayer. Have fun)
Sylvio Ninja actually as a endgame save the world player I pretty much platted Fortnite by accident after I completed my storm shield 10 in twine peaks. Also as someone who did almost all of his ssds david dean style I ended up having completed that 500k structures in late canny and the survivors from grinding survivor xp missions.
How do people have the mental capacity to do even platinum a game like that? The minute I heard you had to do just a play through I didn’t even wanna platinum it lol
I think I might just slightly insane because after hearing what Star Ocean requires of you I'm actually considering buying the game solely to try and get that platinum trophy. I'm a big JRPG fan but I've never played a Star Ocean game, that seems like a good place to start though.
None of these even hold a candle to the "Seriously..." achievements for the Gears of War Series. I got that achievement for Gears 1, 2, 3, and Judgement. I don't have an XBOX One so i never played Gears 4 or the Ultimate Edition. So I'm 4 for 4 out of the ones i played and 4 for 6 for the series. :)
Let's not forget that beautiful jewel of a Battle Trophy for Lymle, beating the hardest boss in the entirety of Star Ocean: The Last Hope, the Shadow Queen, in under 10 minutes. A feat that is absolutely impossible on the higher difficulties XD
I have only a ps3 so... my platinum trophies are Naruto Storm 3, InFamous 2, Prototype 2 Radnet Edition, Uncharted 3 GOTY, Sleeping Dogs, DBZ Budokai HD Collection, i will get Watch Dogs, J-Stars and Sonic Unleashed Platinum trophies someday!
Star Ocean Last Hope was my first PS3 game so yeah I got that platinum. Then bought Zone of the Enders and was traumatized by how much easier that was.
Please. How did you beat the fire hound boss in order to get to the pthumerian queen. No one is responding to beckoning bell and the old hunter sucks so much!
all multiplayer trophies are evil

My first platinum was Dead Space, and I managed to get it because I unintentionally exploited a bug in the hardest difficulty that gave me the stormtrooper (best) armor in the game as soon as I started the run. Happiest miscalculation ever.
Hands down my favorite channel now lol I’m glad I stumbled upon this 😂
I have a Plat in minecraft
I'll just show myself out
Same lol, I will come with you
Fallout 3 isn't that Bad but it is that bad :^\
I know
I'm not sure what you're implying here.
Plating Minecraft was pretty easy imo
Especially compared to Terraria
AtticusSP it's...it's a really bad joke you don't have to use rocket science to figure that out pal :^)
"I'm also going to exercise more, cut out fizzy drinks, go vegetarian..." lmao
im pretty sure hes vegan now lol
no way you played warhawk, such a gem of a game!
Lord Kip especially the ps3 version.
Star Wars Master hell yeah! Shame it never got more hype back then
Lord Kip I know it was the best!
Just finished FF15. First platinum on my account.
If you do all the side quests etc it pretty much gets you the platinum, the only annoying bit was the fishing
Most time consuming platinum that I have played but haven't gotten is Neverwinter. That damn kill 1000 dragons trophy. I got to 50 dragon kills, that took about 5 hours. That means at minimum I will be killing dragons for 100 hours if I do well. I'm not doing that.
rougejaw u have to spend hours grinding to just get good armor or lvl up i aint playing that game anymore
rougejaw might i suggest dragons dogma as good rpg substitute for neverwinter
If you keep alternating from dragon to dragon, it goes a bit faster
Do the makers of Star Ocean: The Last Hope assume I don't have a job, am super loaded and don't need to work a day in my life to actually achieve the Platinum with that insane amount of playing hours?
If you can find time to spend 3 minutes being intimate with the gf. You can find time for trophies
You should make a Friday feature of platinum trophies that take you no time to earn them
I only have 2 platinums but I'm so proud of them Fallout 4 and Dark Souls 3
My platinums are:
Watchdogs
Playstation all star battle royale
Metal gear solid v the phantom pain
Uncharted 3
Final fantasy xv
Henrique Queiroz Reuter was metal gear solid hard?
Bizz The all objectives in all missions is a bit
Watchdogs required some online stuff (races if I remember correctly). While I obviously had internet access, it wasn't the best so I'm missing like 3.
Awesome job
I also have 2 platinums: one on Lego Batman 2 and one in Lego City Undercover
Yes I play Lego games
Lol I just started Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens two days ago. Couldn't quite get the Platinum for LC:U.
You may have platinumed LEGO city undercover. I unfortunately can’t even beat the game
@@jimthar17 it is really hard.
@@Freeproceeds I know. That's probably why I gave up on it. The city is so big and there's so much to do. I just platinumed Lego The Force Awakens instead a few days ago. :)
ah a Gamer of Culture i see
What about Mortal Kombat 9 which wants you to play 24 hours with each character?
Giovanni Belletti no way damn
Giovanni Belletti thats easy
Giovanni Belletti and mkx? play evry char variaton, 10 hit combo evry char, tower with evry char, unlock all mods, get lvl 75..
Egoin Nitram if thats easy for you spending TONS of hours on mortal kombat 9 then you got nothing else to do with your life, no offense
back in the day i would of found that pretty easy. but im a grown up now with responsibilities with full time work and bills to pay
Hello, you’ve caught me rewatching all Friday features
I have 2 platinums. For Infamous 2 and lego Star Wars The Force Awakens. Infamous took the longest. That's my story.
Nice work the both of you!
Ben Schroeder You just gave me a PTSD endured seizure.
But we did it and are still alive. I haven't touched any of the sequels due in part to that experience.
Uncaring Bastard obrigado my homeless friend
I did infamous second son in less than 5 days
Why not make a video about 7 really easy Platinum Trophies?
Watch Dogs 2
Mr. Futago The Order 1886
Any Telltale game.
Far Cry Primal
MGS3
Hasan Kavakci GOD DAME MY BOY. You need to get your comment to the top.
Hasan Kavakci I got two friends on my list that got the wipeout hd trophy xD I was bragging about platting bo3 gta v bloodborne etc etc and they mentioned the wipeout hd trophy list and I was like 😱
J Tee Those friends of yours are a league above us all haha. GTA5 is a good one to brag about though, don't sell yourself too short for that one :P
Hasan Kavakci damn the bro the grind 🙌🏾
Hasan, massive props and I'm happy to see someone else who enjoyed that game. Me...nope. Not happening with that plat though.
Rob, thanks for the video. 100% agreement.
Star ocean: the last hope, took 10 years off my life
I ended up giving up on Final Fantasy XIII's 'Treasure Hunter' trophy for a different reason- I actually hadn't sold any equipment so I could still get it, but the process of getting it involves weeks upon weeks of grinding adamantoises to get the gil necessary to buy all of the weapons you can only get from the shop, and then upgrading them all several times. They take forever to kill, you have to kill hundreds of them, and they don't even have a 100% drop rate on the ore you need to sell. Oh and they basically one shot your party if you don't play perfectly through the entire fight. To this day it remains the only trophy I don't have in that game.
Rob, me and my roommate at university were like, 2007 you is us, now, lol!!!
+Danielle Patton Enjoy the hope while it lasts :) -Rob
PlayStation Access Hey Rob, I'm the roommate from that comment and you just made her day 😂 Thank you for replying!
PlayStation Access who would of thought you guys played white knight chronicles
I plan on hopping back on my ps3 to "try" and get that achievement now
Any favorites moments if you mind .
I went out and bought white knight chronicles 2 because of this video.
WKC used to have online. It was incredible, we could build our own towns as use that as the lobby
I SAW WHITE CHRONICLES IN THE THUMBNAIL AND NOW IM WATCHING THIS AND I INSTA LIKED IT
PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS IF YOU KNOW THE GODLY GAME THAT IS WHITE KNIGHT CHRONICLES
I do. Love the series. Shame the servers got shut down.
I liked it. Too bad they've never release the last entry of the series.
Viper Yes! I loved white knight and do wish we could have finished the story
The evil within platinum had me literally pulling my hair out.
Haha lmfao
I did get the Killing Machine trophy. Man, I loved Resistance 2 sooooo much
i nominate Demon's Souls to this category. try grinding for Pure Bladestone...
Malice Flare I got the platinum in demon's souls, I had a friend who had a piece and got it off him
Please, don't remind me. The horror I went through getting Demon's Souls platinum.
You're not kidding. I made a comment about the grind for Pure Bladestone on an Access video and I got a mention on 'Squad Goals'! My five seconds of fame. :)
Malice Flare I definitely know that struggle friend
Malice Flare you've given me Ptsd
1:25 White Knight Chronicles
3:04 Warhawk
4:38 Final Fantasy XIII
5:42 ModNation Racers
7:13 Resistance 2
8:28 WipEout HD
10:14 Star Ocean: The Last Hope
The Star Ocean plat took me a mere 650 hours...mostly on universe mode...because I'm insane. 😬
David Hawker You deserve to be at the top my boy.
Eric Nick Cheers. :D Resistance 2 was a sod too. I try to do easier games now!
bloody hell that's pretty fast!!
When he said "Play games multiple times and get the most of it" I felt terrible. I can't even finish Most Games oncr
Me too...always another game on the horizon :)
HicksZ34 you can always also look up trophy guides for the game you want to platinum/or 100% on google, they are very helpful(and guides/walkthroughs on youtube can also be helpful),hope this comment helped you.
The most consistent and cleverly written vids I see on UA-cam. Thanks for making my week, again. Cheers!
Rainbow Six Siege. The platinum is just pure pain. I don't how I survived the grinding and was able to get it. And that breaching charge kill trophy. Just pain.
the terrorist hunt trophies. kill me
Nami Jbaily Breaching charge kill is doable, just down someone as an attacker and put a breaching charge next to him
Rogier Vonk easier said then done .
Can i like this whilst owning less platinums than Rob? I own None
Tom Williams Productions terminator salvation platinum is basically complete game on hardest difficulty
Tom Williams Productions same
It's okay. I only got my first platinum in November and that was from World of Final Fantasy.
Tom Williams Productions Same here.
I got my first in like October of last year. Three months later and I have six.
I've put in almost 300 hours into Star Ocean TLH (276 hours to be exact) and I've loved each and every minute of the game
I got the platinum for FFXIII. Took forever bc that dang drop rate for rare items. I also sold off my unused weapons on my first playthrough. Luckily I gained most of my trophies on the first round so I could just focus on the Treasure Hunter one afterwards.
I've got 16 platinums. My proudest being Demon's Souls, DarkSouls 2 and 3, Overwatch and Payday 2.
I got 0 f..
Ryan Lowrie I have 4 Demons Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2, Bloodborne
Wait, you have the cratered, waste not want not, and rapid discord in overwatch?
I got zero hoping to do titanfall two well done on overwatch
I'd love to get my platinum in ds3. I got my 1st platinum in nfsh.
Always enjoy seeing Trophy related list videos from your channel
I've got all these platinums. Now excuse me while I never prove it nor talk about it ever again.
In the real world, I do currently have 127 platinum. #TrophyHunter
Do you have a life in this so called 'real world' of yours
The L-A-J Gamer HD If by life you mean a wife, a 2-year old, and a job... Then yes.
I've got no other hobbies and no friends in the area I live (I commute to work), leaving me plenty of time to game :)
"...when a game is "instooled" on my PS4.."
British accent. You gotta love it!
It's not a British accent it's an English accent, people in Scotland,Ireland and Wales do not speak like Rob.
@@jamespatrickmcinch2519 I am English and don't pronounce it that way either.
I actually got the Resistance 2 Platinum with pure fun and no regrets. That game was so sick!
Bank Alexander I know right it was really fun! The 10,000 took a couple weeks of play out of summer for me. I would average 1,000 per day when I did.
*Hugs all around* I think I must've aimed for 500. 1,000 a day didn't sound like me, but close!
I genuinely like Rob, he is really funny and seems like a cool guy
Why are we always catching Rob in the middle of something? Doesn't this guy realise he has a job to do?
I have a whopping ZERO Platinums! Are you proud of me? (for the record, I totally would have the Plat for LotR Conquest if the multiplayer servers weren't shut down years ago)
I have 2. One of them for Nier Automata which literally allows you to purchase your trophies from one of the NPCs Once you complete the game.
‘I’m only 5 away from being able to count to 12.’
I just got the joke. It’s because nearly all his lists have 7 items. 😆
Ok I call it...FFXV Gladio's skill: Survival to level 10....
I got it waaaaay before the fishing one.
Dimitrios Fishing was very easy just go to the Vesperpool for an hour ;)
Easy... use a rubber band on your controllers thumbsticks, leave your character running circles for a night and you're done.
Yeah thats the most annoying one. I reached level 99 before I got this.
It wasn't hard, it was boring, Gladio's just came with playing the game, didn't have to do something.
-Rob
Tim Wojcik now thats how you know that playstation access is awsome
Wade Edaw i
Having basically done the equivalent of Symphonia's Plat on the Gamecube version (minus the few extras) I can say that once you have speedrunning it down, you can beat it once a day if you mash through cutscenes, etc.
Regardless of the Trophy I can unlock it..as long as it doesnt involve Multiplayer lol.
They need to stop adding Multiplayer trophies to the main game trophy list just add them as an addon trophy list or something, and for games where servers are down they need move Multiplayer trophies to an addon trophy list and add something that can still be earned!
gtasthehunter rip to that AVP platinum that I want
Yeah if you could go for any trophy then could you do the becomes the master trophy on Titanfall 2
I doubt it
I can agree about Modnation Racers. Wasn't too far from it on my old account, but the Hot Lap trophy and the XP grind for the XP a related trophies were just ridiculous.
"Go vegetarian." And he became vegan... So Rob, whats your platinumcount? xD
Any Earth Defense Force game, you need to beat the game 20 times!!
Just platinumed Final Fantasy 15, now working on Treasure hunter trophy in Final Fantasy 13 for platinum :D
Best platinum I ever got was for MGS4. It took FOREVER!
DevineAaron my best platinum i've ever got is "The Elder Scrolls V:Skyrim"(ps3) that game took forever because i got sooooo engaged with it(but took only 1 month XD).
I got it at around 80 hours if I remember correctly.
Congrats! MGS4 is a grindy bugger, and one I thought would get a mention here! Maybe it's one of the 2 that Rob has :0 My best platinum would be Rayman Legends, just because you had to do those daily challenges every day for a few months in order to get the platinum.
DevineAaron and I was proud of my Bloodborne platinum
How on EARTH did you do that time based mgs 4 trophy, if i remember correctly?!?!?
I hated it when trophies were added to MGS4 as I'd already done most of them but none of it counted. My favourite platinum is The Witcher 3, loved every minute it took to earn.
Rob - Hard mode is for people who just want to be in pain while experiencing an amazing game.
#easy mode for life
David Peace Easy mode is for people who are bad at games
David Peace I play easy mode for story games like the last of us but games like skyrim and other stuff I have it on moderate or hard
easy mode to play through and beat the game to determine replay value. best way to realize this
I like to start on easy mode and work my way up.
David Peace normal
6 YEARS ROB :0 Christ man.... You need a hug. I had to stop the video and get another coffee after that...
I'm tearing up a little for you here.
if the simpsons hit and run was released on ps4 i wonder how long the platnum would take
harry patey I would so love that game to have a platinum.
harry patey yes! !!
I completed that game on PS2. How hard could a trophy on THAT game possibly be?
MAD Master001 have you played it recently? Because it hasnt aged well
harry patey
Its been at least two years. It doesn't look good by today's standards (it was only "okay" by PS2 standards) but I remember that the game having decent controls except when going really fast. It had some cool cheats and glitches and only a few annoying missions. I loved the game enough to complete it, I have the Krusty sticker to prove it.
rob if you want quick platinums play telltale games.
Warhawk was incredible. One of my favourite games of all time without a doubt.
will NieR:Automata require you to delete your savefile after hundreds of hours to get the platinum?
God I hope not. I deleted my existence in the original before discovering I forgot the flower growing trophy. I never went back for it either.
"you won't get that Platinum" Games
Even when you could just back the save file up in the cloud.
There is definitly a Trophy for playing the Game in the Perma Death Mode :)
Sascha Keusch I thought that this last mode is something like a perma death Mode. Couldn´t test it.
Me when i see an amazing get announced
*OMG i'm gonna get every thropy/achievement for this game and i'm never gonna stop playing!
Game comes out, Finishes once, doesnt get every thropy and never looks back
I
GTA V needs to be on this.
Kingdom Hearts bbs, every souls game except for ds2, mass effect 2 and 3 are my proudest platinums out of my 22
Chee Rpgg my proudest is Overwatch ^_^
GitGud cool that must have been tough
Rigoberto Arrindell yeah out of all the souls game I think that one was the most fun to play/plat
My proudest is Rouge Legacy, second bloodborne. Planning to platinum Titan Souls in a couple of days, that will be my third proudest.
Chee Rpgg well I boosted 15% of the trophies, still feels good ^_^
Honorable mentions:
Fortnite (Why: u need to buy retail or save the world with PS coins, AND for a few trophies. Defeat 20,000 mist monsters, build 500,000 structures, loot 300 treasure chests, save 10,000 survivors, destroy 100 garden gnomes, play 1000 play with others missions. And they need to be successful missions.)
Metal Gear Solid 5 (why: for THREE trophies, you need to complete all missions, complete them all again with an S rank, then complete them all again with all tasks. Others are acquire all blueprints, key items, animals throughout Afghanistan and Africa, develop 300 development items, and be codenamed "hero" which requires 750,000 heroism.)
Monster Hunter World (why: for some trophies, do the following: complete 50 arena quests, complete 50 investigations, complete 50 optional quests, obtain 5 highly powerful weapons and pieces of armor, obtain a giant crown and mini crown for almost all monsters, capture 50 monsters, obtain 100,000 research points, obtain 1,000,000 zenny, obtain 50 guild cards, reach Hunter Rank 100, capture highly rare creatures for 4 other achievements.
I so proud to be amongst the great few to platinum Aliens: Isolation. The satisfaction of One Shot was amazing
10:35 I have the platinum and never will never do this again but outside of trophy collecting it a really good game but the trophies 😖
How do people have the mental capacity to do even platinum a game like that? The minute I heard you had to do just a play through I didn’t even wanna platinum it lol
I have 0 platinum trophies, it gets worse, Rob :P
Zhang dude go play The Order it only takes a day
Zhang get my name is mayo or any tell tale and thank me later.
Hey, you've got more platinum trophies than me.
Mainly because my last Sony console was the PS2.
Let's not forget that beautiful jewel of a Battle Trophy for Lymle, beating the hardest boss in the entirety of Star Ocean: The Last Hope, the Shadow Queen, in under 10 minutes. A feat that is absolutely impossible on the higher difficulties XD
Longest platinums for me are Cod: World at War and Demon's Souls.
trust me, i’m playing world at war rn on Veteran, and 3 years later it’s still full of grenade launching 😂
I hate online trophies. Nuff said!
But I Gründer through FF XIII 😇
@Spike V1 Ha your sad.😆
Loool. When he mentioned the essay part, I looked up at my half written one due tommarow XD.
Howd you do? :)
Star Ocean Last Hope. I got the platinum. After about 2 years.
Star Ocean Last Hope was my first PS3 game so yeah I got that platinum. Then bought Zone of the Enders and was traumatized by how much easier that was.
Bloodborne was a pain but i battled through and got the platinum
Bloodborne is the only platinum I have and solely because I was just a fiend for the game lol.
try dark souls 3 same thing but with tons of annoying grinding stuff
Bloodborne platinum wasn't too hard. Dark souls 2 platinum I found harder
HexiusUniverse I got bloodborne plat but ds3 is just annoying
Please. How did you beat the fire hound boss in order to get to the pthumerian queen. No one is responding to beckoning bell and the old hunter sucks so much!
Why am i not surprised lost ocean is here lol
Wait i mean star ocean xD
