    HEY OTIP👋 I love my Joker Campero in 14c and Micarta. Thanks for showing another fantastic Joker Fixed blade. They used to be priced a little lower but when you make great stuff and the demand rises....

      thank you for checking it out. I really like this knife, and it's very well made. it would be out of my price range, but it was a gift. it just plain destroys wood, when breaking it down for fires.

    Nice vid... the Nomad 6.5 has worked itself to be my main work, outdoors and camp knife.
    Favourite berry? Either Raspberry for the Jam, or Grapes for the Wine... (if Whisky or Beer were made with berries, it'd be that) :D

    Bless you my brother for saying what I've been saying for years. One doesn't need a frigging Bowie for bushcraft. I keep either a machete (surveying) or a light hatchet in my pack. My preference is a 5"-6" fixed blade and a medium folder for all around use. Take care.

      thank you for watching. I have always had a 4-1/2 to 5-1/2" fixed as my primary belt knife. most of my favorites are in the 5" range. I do see a use for bigger blades but as my main belt knife.

      @OtherThanIntendedPurpose I'm talking about the big knife, little pecker crowd. You know those guys. My dad had a job similar to your previous one, except he was sneaking around Korea with the Koreans. He taught me.

      I get ya. some of us understand that being able to do the smaller, detailed tasks is where the 4-6" blades really are better. it's cool that your dad taught you. mine did the same. but his education was at the jungle university of Viet Nam. you take care, Brother.

      Good evening Gents;
      Figured I'd add in a thought - as guy who has a fascination with both pocket knives and sheath knives. I also share the love of outdoors skills and having spent time teaching Wilderness First Aid I learned along the way that there are literally dozens of blade shapes and a large range of sizes they come in. There are two basic reasons : ascetics and function. A knife made for looks sacrifices function to some degree . Following the sage wisdom of "use it long enough to get to know it" I've regulated a bunch of those knives to the "not carrying that" pile.
      The sheath knives I carry are all short bladed and I prefer a folding pocket saw to an axe or hatchet for many tasks. If you can spare some coin try the Opinel folding pocket saw. It's super handy and I find it to work great at camp tasks.
      Bless you both and
      may all your journeys be adventures and your havens safe.

      thank you. I have been very impressed with the build quality of this 6.5, I most often use a smaller knife, and would like to get ahold of one of the 4-5" Jokers at some point in the future. these guys are really knocking it out of the park with what I have seen so far. I have one other Joker, but because of state laws, I can't carry it outside of the house. pretty sure the person that gifted them to me didn't know about that ( it is a double edge dagger)

    For me a one tool option is something that can handle camp chores and if necessary be used for self defense.
    My M95 Sissipuukko is my one tool option.
