Right! I’m officially impressed. After the test I stroped it up and it’s screaming sharp. This is also my first time using N695 steel. Very good knife. Thanks Timbo!👊💪
Riiiiight! I thought the same thing! It’s crazy how sharp it is. I stropped it up after testing and damn it’s sharp. Joker must have a beast heat treatment on the N695! Thanks man!👊👌
I got the 6.5 ... My only complaint is that it is very thick spine. If it was in the .160 inch area I would give it a 9/10, as is it gets a 8/10. A great score.
It’s perfect in my opinion. It wasn’t designed as a slicer from what I’ve been told by Joker Crew. It’s made for heavy duty tasks, some light chopping & bushcrafting. I get it though. Thanks man!👊
@@WhatsthePOINT_EDC I know it was made as a survival knife, and it preforms that task quite well. For me a knife is a tool to cut with and this knife is a bit fat for it to be my ideal knife. It is a good knife but it is just shy of being ideal.
I would not say that N695 is an "improved" version of 440C. It's just Bohler's version of 440C which is an American standard (AISI). They are identical in terms of chemical composition. Maybe it's cleaner? Bohler is known for their clean manufacturing process, but that would be the only difference. That said, the Joker Nomad is a great knife for the money. I have the 5" and the 6.5" and they are both impressive. The convex grind is extremely well done.
J'ai les deux, le Nomad coupe mieux (convexe), il fait tout ce que fait le Esee6 mais plus épais, inox, et firesteel. Il dépasse nettement le Esee 6 dans les fonctions.
I agree I have both also. Nothing wrong with the ESSEE 6 whatsoever. This used to be most people's go to large outdoor knife, the good old standard .I am however, more impressed with the Nomad, far better at general heavy use and needs less maintenance. They really are impressive blades for the money. The finish is also ex excellent, almost like a custom build ! Worth every penny 👍
She handled all that like a champ!

Epic blade Frank. That beast is SUPER sharp 👊👍
After testing I stropped it and it’s crazy how sharp it is now. I’m definitely liking this! Thanks Steve!👊💪
Nice review brothah, gave her a beating and still standing 🤘🏻
It sure did! Thanks man!👊👌
Awesome brother.
I have fallen in love with this! Haha. Thanks Mike!👊🤣💪
Quick glance, that looks like a real well-rounded knife. Can’t wait to see what it can do
It took it like a champ! It’s still screaming sharp. Very impressive to be honest. Thanks Matt!👊👌
@@WhatsthePOINT_EDC yes I was very impressed as well
I just ordered one of these as a Christmas present to myself. Thanks for sharing your review of it.
Good stuff. It’s a solid knife for sure. Thanks for the support!👊💪
17:40 great message dude 🤘🏻
Thanks man! I stand behind that and I appreciate the support.👊💪
@@WhatsthePOINT_EDC I'm a former addict 🤘🏻
@@LookAtTheTreesNever Quit Quitting brother.👊
Very impressive ! Will it throw sparks ?
I believe it will. The spine is 90 degree and it’s slightly sharp so it should throw sparks. This is a damn good knife.👊👌
I have one and yes it strikes a Ferro rod well
@@LookAtTheTrees I thought it would. Thanks man!👊
Damn I wasn’t expecting it to be so slicey. I knew it would chop, that’s Kindve a given, but that blade made everything look like hot butter

That knife did excellent. Love the new style
Thanks brother! You know it’s going down here at WTP. Lol.👊💪
Have this knife, is beast and I love it. Slitting big logs not issues and still sharp.
It sure is. It’s one of the best knives in its price range and that’s a fact.👊

Uhhh thanks for the book. Hahah!🤣
Which size do you like better?
Nomad 6.5 or ESEE 6?
Joker Knives Nomad 6.5 in N696 steel.👌

What I was wondering also. Going to go with the nomad
