As someone who lives on a small, remote island in the middle of the pacific: Avid internet users are the LAST people who should want to live on an island. It isn't fun and games. It's actually hell. Some of the even more remote islands lack concrete and steel infrastructure and are forced to chain themselves to trees to not be swept away by typhoons. Importing has caused prices to be absolutely bonkers. We can't really produce any of our own goods. So yeah: you do NOT want to live on an island. It isn't all pina coladas and paradise. It's hot, hard work and very limited resources. Especially internet and electricity.

Another thing about the Pitcairn Islands is that there is only one small boat that visits the islands and it only comes around four times a year bringing no more than 12 visitors at a time. The narration, backing tracks, and overall video structure feels a LOT like Internet Historian's content. Although, its not necessarily a bad thing. That guy barely ever uploads anymore, and I really miss that style of content, so I guess you can be my Internet Historian stepdad :)
