MT410 sits above them all, but sort of unfair comparing to this price point. MT410 drives like a racer , bashes like it's indestructible ✊. Highly recommend ! Love you channel
Interesting review, I probably have the order reversed myself, but it's good to hear another person's opinion. Where's my invitation to race with you guys? 😄
Yeah man, we have a new venue... right by my house!!!!
Same here deffo mt8 way better for price no comparison tbh
Rival all day without question!!!
Good on mentioning at the end about the Arrmas coming back in August 2022.
The Kraton 4s is great for jumping and maneuvering.
The Outcast 4s is great for wheelies and flips.
They definitely give the Maxx a run for its money :)
Definitely interested in the Kraton. The Outcast is not for me as it's more a flip machine with the short wheelbase.
Hi Francis, great overview and comparison of the 4-6s trucks, I would have also included the Redcat Kaiju, and Kaiju EXT as well. They are 4-6s and manufactured in the same Taiwan factory that produces Team Associated, they are awesome bashers and great value for money! 💯😁👍
Great suggestion!!!!
Once I got my MT8 sorted, I absolutely love it.
Just have to replace some parts right off the bat with some cheap redcat parts. Tighten the servo saver. And now it’s a good handling truck that loves to flip but feels like a race truck.
Tighten the servo saver. That's good advice. The Corally Sketer servo saver definitely needed some tightening.
Great comparison your definitely my most trusted reviewer every car you've recommended that I've bought (Senton 3s, Mojave) I've loved. Now gonna grab a Widemaxx. Keep up the good work 👌
So far i like the Sketer a lot..Price, handling and durability are great..It is more time consuming to work on and it needs to be geared up a bit but thats no biggie..I have the Kaiju and the Kaiju EXT they are also really good imo..Nice and light..I dont buy Traxxas stuff so i can judge the Maxx but i like good handling RC's and i think gyro's are cheating lol.. So the Maxx would not be something id want..The MT8 is interesting though tires and sway bars might make it worthy and 6s power for $500 is darn good..Good video my friend 👍🏽
My thoughts exactly. Great feedback man. I'll work on the MT8. It could be a force with the right tires and swaybars.
Your right again . I'm not a Traxxas guy but I have to respect their quality .
It's strong and it's crazy.
Each truck excels in different categories for sure. For mt track racing the sketer is best, for all out play the maxx is best. For a nice in between the mt8 works. Mt class is so subjective based on what the driver is going to do with said vehicle. I agree add in original kaiju, and new outcast4s. To complete your review!
Great video like always. You need to make a video of the kyosho USA 1 which is 4S!
Ahh yes. Super old though so that may be outmatched.
@@RCReviewChannel No I’m talking about the new one that was released in the last year 😀 Or maybe do a video where it’s compared to the Losi LMT
I'm big fan of your UA-cam channel an you really good I'm a fan of Traxxas Maxx an the team associated MT8 I would like to try the the middle one truck
Yeah, really opened our eyes when these were put side by side.
This an excellent in depth video and enjoyable
Hi are kraton 4s v2.5 wheels same size as ones on mt8 please
This an excellent in depth video and enjoyable. I think that if your Corally you need to come into this highly competitive market and have a rock bottom price to get your foot in the door of this market. You mentioned the front bumper on the Corally and saw another review and that was the only thing that broke. I heard the MT8 is not as durable as the MT10 and you verified that. You would think they would have built in more durability and better tires. Comparisons are always good as someone else mentioned.
Thanks for that. Yeah, learned a lot in this shootout and that's what counts.
My perspective is for about the same price you can have a fully sorted MT8 and have a full 1/8 scale experience on 6s compared to the Maxx, but that might be my anti-Traxxas bias showing. I hate proprietary connectors. lol
They all look like fun to me...🤠🤙🏼
Bottom line, that's it. High fun for all these.
Great reviews as always!!
Let’s go 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Let's rock!!!!
I’d love to see an 8s and 6s shootout
MT8 looks the best❤
Shame it doesn't add up as its not $350!
Just bought one last week on sale for 350
I love my Maxx!
It was good and then they improved it.
@@RCReviewChannel they definitely did. I had V1 and now have V2.
Sup France, love the comparisons.. reminds me of the car and driver, motor trend road & track magazines
Thank you bro!
Different question, does a hobbywing fusion 2300 kV fit in the Vanquish Phoenix? Thanks 🚗💨💨
Oh do you have a part number for the heavy duty widemaxx body?
Great review video! Always cool 😎
Thanks again! This was an interesting project.
Do I even have to watch....:cough Traxxas cough'.... 🙈
Yup, not surprising.
Maxx for the fun factor and durability! Traxxas nails it again
Yeah, fun, durability and that Version 2 update with the cool features too.
very good review thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Great analysis!!!!!!
Thank you. The conclusion not as important as the breakdown of their qualities, strengths and weaknesses.
@@RCReviewChannel Yep. I enjoyed hearing about the characteristics more than the actual ranking. That lets us know which car suits an individual's preferences and driving style regardless of how they're ranked.
What wheel combo did you put in that Maxx?
Best 4s monster truck is the Tekno MT410 but it will cost you 🤣🤣🤣
That's on sale right now at Amain. I want to buy it but looks like a discontinued product soon. alnk.to/h6BOXGU
The Tekno is a great truck but it's a kit and significantly more that the other 3 (at least at regular cost), once you add full electronics and a radio.
B4 the video starts. I pick the MAXX
Visionary!
Not sure if its worth it but a 3S Trucks ?
Possibility!
Doesn't the LMT run 4s capable?
I don't think so. It's pretty crazy at 3s anyway. It's not really meant to bashing. It's best as a stunt stadium truck with a lot of structures to tackle.
you bastard! vid showed up before it was on 🤣🤣 Must be a new youtube feature or something.
youtube vortex
Hello
NO KRATON? SKIRD? LOL NICE MOUNTAINBIKE RAMP, WISH THEY DIDN'T COST ALMOST TWICE AS MUCH AS ANY OF THOSE TRUCKS.
Rrrright?
You forgot The Tekno mt410
Wanted to get it but it's aged a bit. Might still get it.
@@RCReviewChannel would sick to see old school vs new school
@@RCReviewChannel I just got myself a MT410 kit over all of these. Excited to build it. Still trying to decide on the electronics!
Isn’t it the narrow maxx with those wheels?
Look at like this you changed wheels on Maxx for reason so wouldn't say wheels are downfall for skeeter I prefer those wheels who cares backflips I'd rather high-speed handling chacteristics
I have try katars on Maxx I have lp backflios but too heavy
I didn't change it for the test. Just on the table shot. Been running the original wheels and tires for the last 6 months.
Idk I own Maxx it is a great truck I need do bearings bulkhead hinge pins and new wheels body pretty shot too so I had my fun I rather sell get new one lol o think the skeeter has potential to be best just need add the truggy hubs and axles :really just a buggy with different wheels basically. I built one from arrma typhon it's my go too rc . And the Maxx but Maxx actually very boring bc handles so bad . Anyone wanna buy max
Tekno Mt410 beats them all
We might have to try that. It's super old though and looks like an abandoned platform.
@@RCReviewChannel not sure about all that. It's still in production along with aftermarket parts and shares parts with other teknos. 6 yrs isn't that old and it's not like there has been advances in chassis tech. The xmaxx has been around the same amount of time.
Traxxas biased, won’t watch anything from this channel again.
