Nice to get the whole set in one big chunk. The Dawson wasn't too bad. I wonder if they were stored in higher humidity. They look like my 77's that I bought from the store myself as a kid when I lived for the day and didn't care about any future appearances or condition. Good Collecting 👍👍💗💗
I've recently started acquiring older sets i've always wanted. in good shape but by no ,means mint and i'm thrilled to finally have these I started with 82 83 84 and 85 Topps complete sets in good condition for $290 . I plan to move both forward and backwards from there as long as it's affordable,
thats awesome, are you putting these sets in binders as well??? i wish i can add more sets to my collection but, i dont have the space for them boo.. however, i am doing something different with the collection!
@@geezmikey Yes i am in the process now of getting them all in binders The only card that won't be is the 83 Gwynn rookie it came in a slab that has an SGA grade on it and i don't want to fool with it. 82 and 83 are done working on 84 and 85 in the evenings after work. Not in any rush i'm enjoying taking my time and appreciating the cards.

thank you farren, but unfortunately my transmission on my work truck went out last friday. i swear when it rains it pours -_- which will cost way more than my water heater, unbelievable. which means no cards for awhile.
I put the wrong number card in every time. Thankfully I check often so not to be messed up too much. It's a good condition set for the age and the price. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a great one
The last card number on the page should be divisible by 9. If the digits add up to a number divisible by 9, then that number is also divisible by 9. At least, that's how I check when doing binder fills. Well, unless you aren't using 9-card pages!
I'm 40 cards into a set and some are Buybacks. I hate the 700 card shuffle. Al Pilarcik. He in the set? I corrected a mistake on my UD golf, so now I don't need to buy 4 extra cards. Whew.
Just a question, I'm a binder guy as well and i often put cards back to back in binders but most videos i see have just 9 cards in a sleeve and the backs visible when turning the page. Am i doing any harm to my cards by putting them back to back? Thanks!
Honestly, I have 2 answers for that. 1st, I personally don't like double sided cards in pocket pages, because it helps me read the numbers better..2nd, I noticed by adding double sided cards in pages, I sometimes damage the card (or use to) also the newer cards they're made with diff material paper where as time goes on, those cards will stick together.

Don't bother with the binder the only valuable card it the last card which is always missing
