Yes they just get bigger. I would say close to maximum for port infrastructure now with limits in turning basins and Westgate bridge clearance. Thanks for watching.
CMA CGM Etosha is currently on route from Brisbane (departed 16/09/2024) to Yokahama. I believe it arrived in Melbourne 4/9/2024 for a day. Hence the calm seas.
@@davidholder3207 Sure I can add a date taken, but it might be a month before you see it at times. As a lot of shipping movements can be at night therefore gaps will appear in posting. I only post one or two a week to make a regular upload time to watch.
Thanks DAFF, your efforts are greatly appreciated 👍👍👍👍👍
My pleasure!
👍👍👍
Great video I find it amazing how big container ships have got since years ago when I worked for Columbus Line in Melbourne

Yes there is a delay in my posts.
@@daff.wallace2267 Can I suggest a date stamp on each video when you post the data on each ship? It would assist historically.

Hi Daff, just a question once the pilots board the ship do they stay with the ship until it docks.
Correct once aboard they guide the ship to either the allocated anchorage or berth in Geelong or Melbourne.
@@daff.wallace2267 thanks for the feed back much appreciated.
