First Time on Breeze Airways - “Nicest” Seats & Checking in to Knott's Berry Farm Hotel / Travel Day

- It's time for a travel day!! In this video, I am bringing you along as we try a brand new airline, Breeze Airways, for the first time, and share our experience, including both the pros and cons. Not everything is perfect, but I'll be sharing it all honestly as-is so that you are right there with us in-the-moment. We fly from MCO, Orlando International Airport, to SNA, John Wayne airport, the closest airport to Anaheim (for Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm!), in the Nicest category of seats on an a220 plane, which is Breeze Airway's version of First Class, and share that whole flight experience with you, and upon arriving at SNA, we check in to the Knott's Berry Farm hotel, which is currently undergoing refurbishment but we did get a refurbished room and I show you a room tour! I share a detailed review of our first flight on Breeze Airways in this video, and try to give you my tips, pros, cons and helpful info as well. Coming up after this video, we have lots of adventures, traveling from California to Nevada, and that will be the next videos in this series of a whirlwind trip from Florida to CA to Las Vegas, NV! Sun country is a pretty small budget airline, based out of Minnesota where I'm from, they focus on destination flight to and from MSP. so Orlando, Vegas, LAX, those kinds of places. I actually flew with them for my first trip to Orlando about a month ago! Love the travel vlogs, well all of them really, keep up the amazing work Jackie!
Too bad you didn’t fly them before they converted to a low cost Carrier apparently they used to be really nice like Alaska Airlines or porter in Canada is probably the closest to what they were! I’m glad they’re still nice now.
I was worried they would stop passengers all together now that they are a “prime air” operator.

The airport I work at is infamous for breeze being late or cancelled. I’ve been on board to speak to Captains and the aircraft is nice inside for how cheap the flights are. I’m not knocking it, just an observation from experience. I’d fly with them only if I know I don’t have to be somewhere at a certain time or date. Have fun!
I never travel without my sanitizer wipes either, airplanes, trains, cruise ships, hotel rooms....handy to have
We always fly into John Wayne when we travel to Disneyland - another good one if you are just going to Universal would be Burbank airport

Also, thanks for all of your hard work and the detailed information and explanations of every thing ya'll do. The room looks nice and clean. From what I understand, you are right. The budget airlines are hit and miss and you have to watch all the spending details because you will wind up with a rate as much as a regular airline. Have fun and be safe. Waiting on the next video.
i ENJOYED SEEING THE NEW AIRLINES BEING FEATURED. WHEN A NEW AIRLINE IS INTRODUCED I ALWAYS THINK OF ALL THE AIRLINES THAT HAVE COME AND GONE OVER THE YEARS, THE FIRST TIME I FLEW, THE AIRCRAFT HAD PROPELAS AND THE FRONT OF THE PLANE WAS HIGHER THAN THE REAR AND IT WAS UP HILL TO GO TO THE FRONT. LONG TIME AGO! I THINK IT WAS DELTA AND THE FLIGHT WAS FROM DENVER TO ALBANY GEORGIA.

I really loved this. So relaxing and yet exciting to see this new budget airway. I liked their airport w/monorail. Thank you for the in depth review of this airway. Gives people in FL and CA an option for when they want to visit a Disney park on the other coast. The view from the plane was great. I am excited youre going back to Disneyland! Woot, woot! The hotel room was nice.
The lack of wifi would definitely be felt aboard a five-to-six hour flight, but man....those seats are _classy_ 😍 Sorry to hear that you all got swept up in yet another onboard medical emergency, but hopefully the affected passenger made it safely to the other end and was able to receive whatever treatment was necessary. Apart from that, it seems like Breeze Airways may be a new top contender for domestic travel! We've almost always used Southwest for trips across the US, so we'll be keeping an eye on Breeze to see how they develop as they grow. The Knott's Berry Farm Hotel looks really cute, clean and fanciful, too! It'll be some time before we make it back to Knott's again, but now I know where we'll be staying. 👀 Always love these travel vlogs - thanks for sharing, Jackie!
Planes should all have Wifi by the end of the year, on two aircraft currently.
I LOVE the Santa Ana airport. Went there a few times for VidCon. When you're coming home, stop at the bar at the end of the terminal. Great drinks!

Jackie, when you take off out of SNA there's a noise ordinance so they go pretty steep then they pretty much cut the engines. It's a weird feeling if you don't know it's going to happen. I live in AZ and only fly into SNA when I go to Disneyland and Knotts. I hope you're having an amazing time!
Oh wow! We ended up flying out of Las Vegas so I didn’t get to experience that, but hopefully one day.
Thanks for this we are considering Boston and Orlando this October. So perhaps this could be a way to tack on LA to the trip.

I have had the chance to stay at this renovated Knott’s Hotel and I am obsessed with that bathroom mirror 🪞, lol. I am soooo excited for you guys to return to Knott’s in the fall for all the scary festivities. Lovely to see your journey and hear your kind review for what looked like a mediocre flight experience. It did look icky to me, considering the flight attendant said it was a brand new plane 🤨. John Wayne is such a chill airport and I wish I lived closer to it to avoid LAX. Enjoy your trip!

Great travel vlog. We may have to fly into that smaller airport, if we have an airline that goes there. Would be much less stressful for my son with special needs.

I grew up less than five miles from John Wayne airport (MacArthur to Michaelson then straight to Irvine). I went back home in February. flew to LAX. usually, the landings are so seamless you don't even know you touched down. yeah, my landing scarred the crap outta me just like yours. looking forward to the upcoming videos!

I swear you and Sam make me want to get out and have an adventure! And that Breeze airline seemed nice but the mess looked like it had been collecting for a minute.
And I've flown Suncountry before, it was either to Hawaii or Vegas, I can't remember which.
I was born and raised in Ventura county California until I moved to Sacramento California and I’ve been to Disneyland probably over 300 times I even used to attend when they had E-tickets to ride and I’ve always had either an annual pass or a magic key, and yet I’ve never not once stayed in a Knotsberry farm hotel! So thanks for showing us this and quick note the Knotts berry farm which they change to Knotts scary farm during Halloween season is one of the best Haunted houses I’ve ever been to in my life even better than Universal Studios I hope you get a chance to check it out.!

Sam, a visit to Knott's Scary Farm is a fantastic idea! I haven't been in many years, but back then, I thought it was better than Universal's HHN.

I live a few miles from John Wayne and would always prefer going there versus LAX. So much less hectic. Long Beach is a great small airport too. Takeoff and landing from SNA can be a little "exciting" because of how quickly the ascent and descent are required to take place. It is usually the first ride you get to go on haha. I've been curious about Breeze, thank you for the honest review!
It’s a budget airline, you can’t expect much. It looked good to me. It’s the only airline that flies from MCO-SNA… perfect for a WDW to DL flight 😊
Exactly!! And the big spacious seats make up for a lot.

@@hollyrhodee I’ve seen Delta, American and JetBlue planes just as dirty as that one. This is the only airline that flies directly to Anaheim from Orlando. I’d take a dirty plane and sanitize it myself, just not to make a connection or be stuck in LA traffic. Anyways Orlando Local problems 🤷🏽♂️
That's the thing, I've been on much worse flights that were also not super clean, so it's always a trade off. I've never found a perfect airline and sadly they all seem to be getting worse, so at least if I can have some space and a comfortable seat for a reasonable price, that's the best I can ask for nowadays. The bar is so low for airlines, which is a bummer.
Yeah for travel day with Jackie and Sam. So excited for your trip. I am very interested in knots,s berry farm. I didn’t know they had a hotel. The prices are great ( well compared to our hotels in Hawaii).

Had to laugh when you were sharing about your hotel. We checked in to one today in the middle of remodeling rooms ours has not been done yet. Went to look out the window only to find that it was covered so we had no view either.
I think I could put up with a lot of stuff for a cheaper air flight. Especially if you get nice seats. Those mountains were gorgeous, when I flew from Texas to Vegas I saw beautiful mountains. Knotts berry farms is on my bucket list.
I was super impressed with Breeze when I flew out to Vegas last month and looking forward to the flight home. Then they cancelled my flight at 11pm the night before and all the good will I had for them was wiped away.
The budget airlines all have a big issue w canceled flights and they only seem to run like two flights a day so if it’s canceled you’re left w no options.
I took a flight with Breeze from CHS to MCO and it was really nice. I'm not sure if they put me in first class (the nicest class) because it was difficult for them to get me (as a disabled person) to the back of the plane, or if they simply had an unused seat. The first class seats were very comfortable, and it was surprisingly affordable to book them.

Breeze has been flying to LAX since November 2022 & San Bernardino Airport since August 2022. We've flown them twice in the Nicest cabin & pleased with the service. In June, we are flying to Santa Ana nonstop from Pittsburgh. When we flew them upfront, beverages were available throughout the flight with the bottled water, coffee, tea, & 1 alcoholic drink, if you wanted it.
Ah I meant not direct from Orlando to LAX, but they do go there from other places. I would definitely fly Breeze again though, after flying Frontier and other airlines that pack you in like sardines, those spacious seats on Breeze feel like pure luxury!!! For our flight no alcohol drink included though, I probably would have had a beer or wine if it was tho, that would be nice.
@@SuperEnthused The crew messed up if they didn't offer 1 alcoholic drink because that's their policy in the Nicest cabin for all flights over 4 hours long.
I'm a fan of that hotel room, especially @ $125 a night in SoCal!

PS: wow, you've never heard of Sun Country Airlines? They're from Minnesota and have been around since the 1980s. I remember seeing their planes in Dallas. They were white with orange stripes on the sides.
Finally heading to college at full sail university and studying producer and making your dreams come true working with feeder,foo fighters,hanson is definitely on my bucket list. And when I go to college I will think about you guys and I remember on a livestream you guys said hanson,feeder,foo fighters are your favorite band and personally I concur aka agree with you both Jackie and Sam.
