- Join us for my FIRST TIME in Las Vegas on our first day! We check in to The Mirage hotel, give you a room tour, show you the lobby, massive fish tank, atrium and waterfall, famous Volcano show, and my first time walking the Vegas strip, totally chaotic! We enjoy some of Las Vegas' most famous sites and attractions over the course of our trip so stay tuned for more after this video, but in this video specifically we visit: The Mirage Hotel for check in, room tour and see the famous Mirage Volcano show, Las Vegas Monorail and The MGM Grand, Caesars Palace and the Atlantis Show featuring animatronics, fire and fountains, drinks at Taco Bell Cantina (where people can get married!), dinner at The Nomad Library Bar at the Nomad Hotel at Park MGM, and see so many sites in our first days in Las Vegas!

You have to go to fairmont street and the “old downtown” if y’all didn’t it will be an opportunity to go back I love all the new parts of Vegas but the old is also a must see 🫶🏼
If you guys ever do the drive on the I-15 again, as enthusiasts of Buc-ee’s, I would recommend a stop at both Eddie World (which you briefly drove by after Calico) as well as Terrible’s in Jean, Nevada (which is next to that closed casino right off the highway between Buffalo Bills and the Seven Magic Mountains)…both are VERY similar to the setups in the Buc-ee’s you guys have visited in some of your earlier vlogs (Terrible’s particularly so!)

I have visited Las Vegas several times,last time was 5 years ago and next visit will be this coming November.Las Vegas is always rejuvenating itself and I have a feeling it will be much changed during the last 5 years,can’t wait to visit again 🌋
Wow, Ceasar's Palace is HUGE now! At least it's still there and it looks pretty. I miss old Vegas though. Now they just want bigger, better and newer, ugh. They waste so much money. I am lucky to have seen it back in the day a bunch of times. My dad is a pianist and in the late 60's, early 70's he played Ceasars with Steve Lawrence and Edie Gorme. Before your time, mine too really. Me and my sister used to explore at ages 8 and 12 when life was mostly safe. You'd think there was nothing to do as a kid but just to wander freely and check everything and everyone out was fantastic. Going in August as my dad moved there. I don't know why. Love you two! Sorry for the novel. 😊♥

I think it’s so cute how in awe you both were experiencing vegas for the 1st time. You are seasoned pros in so many vacation spots that you were out of your element for once. The sensory overload is real. The Chandelier bar is amazing
I love the dolphins in the Mirage stretch of water on the strip,my second favourite stretch of water after the Bellagio Fountains 💦 🐬
Just remembered- they have expanded the Taco Bell Cantina sub-chain into California, but I don't think they have the whole marriage package at other locations lol.
I never bought anything there, but I did appreciate the misters on their patio on a 100+ degree day
Caesars just remodeled that entrance you walked through. It's fun to see how they decorate around the lion for any event going on.
The forum used to have a giant FAO Schwartz with a huge Trojan Horse suspended from the ceiling, and inside were different displays like a replica of the Mos Eisley Cantina - where you could buy snacks and soda
The outside gondolas are so refreshing on a hot day. I do want to get a volcano view from there someday, before it's too late!
One time when I was little, there was such a powerful dust storm that we had to duck inside Harrah's and wait it out.
Time definitely flows different there! So fun to watch you guys discover just some of the frenzy of activity on the Strip. There's so much packed into almost every corner- you even passed the secret pizza place on the second floor near the Cosmopolitan chandelier!

I haven’t been to Vegas since the year 2000. It was so much fun when I went, but I would imagine a LOT has changed. Casinos come and go there so quickly too. Thanks for the video Jackie , reminds me of the fun I had back then!😂🎉

@Super Enthused I so agree. I'm sad it's leaving. I turned 21 in 1989 and remember when it was new. I went to Vegas over 100 times during the 90s. Frequent weekend getaways from SoCal. Rooms were as low as $20 a night, and sometimes we'd earn free ones. Or we'd splurge and stay at Bellagio for $59. Buffets for $5 breakfast and lunch, and $10 for dinner. With prices like that it was a no-brainer to go a lot. Sometimes we'd do well enough at games that we'd come home with the same amount of money that we left with. Ah, the good old days. Not like that now.
I saw Love at The Mirage the last time I was in Las Vegas. Fantastic show. The Beatles and Cirque Du Soleil are and awesome combination.

Fun to see your guys experience as a first time in LV ! That was our most memorable time running around all day and night on the monorail. Been awhile of just walking around like a tourist- think that’s what’s in store on my next visit - very cool to learn of Sam’s knowledge of the different surroundings. Great memories made all the away around - Ty 4 sharing 😀
It was fun to be a tourist somewhere and learn so much, when I’m used to going to places where I know my way very much. Learned so much this trip.

On our first visit to Las Vegas we also stayed at the Mirage. It was awesome and we have been hooked ever since. And we don't even gamble.

I dont know why but i just LOVE Vegas! I believe ive been there 3 times. At 16, 21 and 23 or so and i cant wait to go back.
Not to age myself but when i went at 16 i got the full MGM Wizard of Oz experience and the Cesars complete experience where the "sky" changed at such. It was so much fun.
And my heart hurts because there is this spot at the Mirage that i always felt was the most romantic looking spot for people to get engaged and now its gonna be gone. Im so sad.

@SuperEnthused It definitely feels like it changes all the time. I even got to go to the amusement park that was in Vegas for a short time and rode The Big Shot on the top of the Stratosphere....NEVER AGAIN! It made me hate drop rides. I am good for life. I even experienced an Nsync outdoor concert in Vegas. I seriously need to get back out there to see all the changes in person

I'm amazed how little Las Vegas strip has changed since I last visited some twenty years ago, not that that's a bad thing, Las Vegas totally nailed it so why change something if it already works so well. I am shocked at what you said about Hard Rock planning to remove the volcano and replace it with a giant Guitar though -god knows what the genius who thought that idea up is thinking, He/She must be bananas. Hoping to see Desert Passage rainstorm, Sirens of TI, Tournament of the Kings, Merlin's battle, Shark Reef, Siegfried and Roy's secret garden, Stratosphere etc, etc in the next few videos -so much left yet for you to explore 🙂

Thanks for capturing the Mirage volcano for everyone. I saw it back in the 90s when a lot of the traditional casinos were still around on the strip. The Excalibur and Luxor had just opened. Treasure Island was down from The Mirage and they had a pirate ship out front and would put on pirate shows as well. Lots of fun. 🤩
We watch Vegas vlogs ALL the time, as we are frequent Vegas visitors, and not only did we enjoy this one because it was done so well, but we loved seeing your reactions to everything as a first timer! Can't wait to keep watching!

At the Bellagio they have the boat ride with the opera singers. It's so fun. The big resorts have so much to offer that isn't gambling. Really liking the show

Aahh I know it's been a while since I've commented! My apologies!
I was going to go to Vegas last year for my 21st birthday, but I ended up going to a small town in Indiana to go gambling for the first time. I didn't win anything, but I did have a lot of fun! I was close to winning $100 but I was dumb and pressed on instead of taking my winnings lol.
When you were traveling through the desert, were you able to see the stars due to less light pollution? I've heard that you can even see the Milky Way on crystal clear nights! A friend of mine lives on a small farm in Nevada and sends me pictures sometimes of the things she sees.
Vegas seems like a lot of fun! Certainly something everyone should experience at least once! Thanks so much for taking us along :D

We LOVE Vegas!! It's my favorite adult only vacation. We went for our honeymoon in 2019 and went 4 times over the next year before everything closed. Weve gone a few times since and just got back from a trip last month!

Yes! I love the Mirage. The staff were so great. It was my birthday and they upgraded me to a better room on the top floor with a view of the volcano

All the paintings on the ceilings remind me of the Louvre. I walked around that museum with my face upward probably 90% of the time. So beautiful.
That’s a long hike from The Mirage down to The MGM, I was tired just thinking about it! I 100% recommend getting a bus pass when you’re in Vegas, it saves your feet a lot of miles.

My parents were just there in Vegas two weeks ago, and they went to the Grand Canyon.
Yeah, Vegas is like no other place on the planet, and yes, we still go by "Sin City", as that will probably never change. I've lived here since 95, and back then you could have stayed for 1 month, and still not done everything. Now the town has quadrupled in rooms, people, restaurants, conventions, things to do etc, and now you could stay a year and not do it all. It's for sure sensory overload if your not used to it, and can be overwhelming with so much to do. I'm sure your next vid is already filmed, and you guys are on to the next adventure, but I'll do some recommendations anyway, as I'm sure you'll be back.
If you guys make it to the Las Vegas welcome sign for pictures, hit up the Pinball Hall Of Fame across the street(u can't miss it), as that's a one of a kind experience. Also if your in Vegas, you have to do a stage show, which hopefully you guys got to do, and while I haven't seen many, I can recommend "O" at the Bellagio. If your in to the Beatles, I hear "Love" at the mirage is great as well. And last but not least check out the Mob Museum, as that is something unique to our town, as it was built by the mob, and the museum is very well done. All the best and safe travels.

Still a bizarre place I haven't been to Vegas in many years, I can't even remember how long ago. It certainly has changed and yet remained the same. Hope you had a great time there. I remember the smoking thing well as I am super sensitive to smoke! Oh well. By the way, I think "the Mermaid's Butt" should be the name of a bar or something there ha ha! As a person who spends a lot of time in Las Vegas, it's interesting to see you guys experiencing it for the firs time. Many of the things that I already take for granted are still mesmerizing to you. I'm glad you enjoyed your trip.
When my daughter and I went to Vegas, we got the 3 day pass for the Monorail. It was so worth the money. We walked through so many resorts/casinos but found great shops and restaurants doing so. MGM was the one we got lost in often because it is so big from the strip to the Monorail.

Sooooo cool that your room had the Volcano view! Love that you can see the Venetian so well too. That area in the forum shoppes with the spiral escalator was my favorite spot I saw in Vegas! Bless all those pedestrian bridges. Makes it so much easier to get around! So sad about the volcano being replaced by the guitar. It's such an ICONIC part of Vegas! Haha Sam said the same thing... iconic! That sandstorm was wild though.
